There's still too many variables to mail in the loss just yet.

These are my Keys to 3 Points:

- Del Piero and Trezeguet when they are in the zone are better than anyone Roma can counter with.

- Use what speed and stamina at Juve's disposal. Roma is a young, athletic team. Guys like Criscito, Chiellini, Brazzo (hopefully), Iaquinta and Tiago have to be out there and up to task and probably be prepared to cover up for some of the older vets. Any subs should be to augment this, not to slow down.

- Injuries... If Juventus can get Salihamidzic back for the Roma clash, they're in way better shape than if they're forced to start Birindelli again. All respect to him being a veteran bianconeri, but he's ready to retire. Brazzo can control a wing and keep Guily/Mancini at bay.

- Roma v. Dynamo... while Roma should easily trounce the Ukranians, those guys play hard. Roma could easily be down an impact player with the same resonance of Camoranesi being missing from Juventus. Suddenly, things would tilt back.

- Tiago. This guy should be our best central midfielder, and has the experience and skill to do so. A chance in a big game might be what he needs to kick it up a notch and be a dominant force.

- Ranieri... I like the guy, but his subs v. Udinese were totally senseless. He has to use his subs smartly.

My Formation:

Buffon
Salihamidzic-Criscito-Andrade-Chiellini
Iaquinta-Tiago-Zanetti-Nedved
Del Piero-Trezeguet

Probable Subs: Palladino, Molinaro, Nocerino or Almiron (depending on game situation)

IMO Roma will beat us and hopefully not badly. Don't ever think that we will repeat the 5-1 win against them in our last pre season friendly. The reason i thin they will beat us is because our defence is still very shakey and in midfield we are missing players such as Emerson & Viera type. Up front is okay for this season.

So Nocerino will miss the game, this means we will not see him as RM which is good but we will miss him in the middle of the field.

Zanetti is still better so it won't be that big of a deal, unlike the loss of Camo.

Nocerino at least is a stable factor on the right. He offers little going forward IMO, but he's to be counted on. The loss of both Camoranesi and Marchionni for an extended period of time is what could kill us this season.

I heard that Nocerino had an accident in Turin. Nothing serious it seems, but he's in the hospital for tests... oh is there anyone here who can play on the right wing this sunday?

Nocerino is already home

Antonio Nocerino was the victim of a bad misadventure. On Monday evening the young midfielder was run over by a car while going to a restaurant in Turin. He was taken to the Umberto I Hospital - where he was assisted the whole time by Dr. Agricola - and spent the night there as a precaution; he was then released in the morning.

The player suffered a cranial contusion trauma but luckily no concussion and is now feeling better. This afternoon he'll undergo a battery of tests with the Club's medical staff at the Juventus Center.

No way we can play a 4-3-3 here. Roma has one of the strongest midfields in Serie A and with they would eat us. 4-4-1-1 with Iaquinta instead of Trezeguet is probably the best solution, because Iaquinta runs more and helps more the midfield than Trez does.

I worry about this game....CR does'nt know his best 11 yet...n the injuries r piling up(marchionni, brazzo, camoranesi, grygera n now nocerino!)Roma on the other hand are on a high.....
If we play C.Zanetti,Almiron.Tiago and Nedved...who do we have left on the bench?Ruben Oliveira?

In view of the available players here's my team:

Buffon

Birindelli(for lack of any other option!)Criscito-Andrade-Chiellini

C.Zanetti

Almiron Tiago Nedved

Del Piero

Trezeguet

I don't care if Tiago and Almiron have been hitherto unimpressive..for now, they are all we've got.....In the event that Nocerino n Brazzo are declared fit for the game,i would'nt start them.........

It's goin 2 be difficult,n i do hope we'll be in for a pleasant surprise....
