There's still too many variables to mail in the loss just yet.
These are my Keys to 3 Points:
- Del Piero and Trezeguet when they are in the zone are better than anyone Roma can counter with.
- Use what speed and stamina at Juve's disposal. Roma is a young, athletic team. Guys like Criscito, Chiellini, Brazzo (hopefully), Iaquinta and Tiago have to be out there and up to task and probably be prepared to cover up for some of the older vets. Any subs should be to augment this, not to slow down.
- Injuries... If Juventus can get Salihamidzic back for the Roma clash, they're in way better shape than if they're forced to start Birindelli again. All respect to him being a veteran bianconeri, but he's ready to retire. Brazzo can control a wing and keep Guily/Mancini at bay.
- Roma v. Dynamo... while Roma should easily trounce the Ukranians, those guys play hard. Roma could easily be down an impact player with the same resonance of Camoranesi being missing from Juventus. Suddenly, things would tilt back.
- Tiago. This guy should be our best central midfielder, and has the experience and skill to do so. A chance in a big game might be what he needs to kick it up a notch and be a dominant force.
- Ranieri... I like the guy, but his subs v. Udinese were totally senseless. He has to use his subs smartly.
My Formation:
Buffon
Salihamidzic-Criscito-Andrade-Chiellini
Iaquinta-Tiago-Zanetti-Nedved
Del Piero-Trezeguet
Probable Subs: Palladino, Molinaro, Nocerino or Almiron (depending on game situation)
