I missed the game, how bad were we, Sampdoria bad?
Didn't see the Samp game, but Juve were pretty bad.

Roma only had to be vaguely competent to keep Juve at arm's length.

Juve then provided Roma with loads of counter-attacking chances.

If the game had finished 3-0 to Roma, I don't think anyone could have argued it was an unfair result.

Lucky it was only a glancing blow or there might have be more significant damage done.

I see, thanks.

So, how was Asamoah at LWB?

I think we should use the epitome of the modern defender there, Asamoah is not a wing back.

Meh.

It was a collectively poor display, so wouldn't read too much into individual performances.

Buffon and back three did well, couldn't say anything much positive about the midfield or attack.

but the truth is, it's not a delusion, it's fact, italian teams seem to be much more fatigued... why? this kinda beg a study to find the answer.... ffs we see messi playing more than 100 times a year! and our players tired to death after 3 games???

seriously WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON on italian teams???

this didn't seem to happen in the 90s...

whyyyyyyy? I'm very serious here.
That's because most of our steroids have been confiscated by FIGC.

Worse. Both teams actually started pretty bad and there was a time it's a contest of who lost the balls the most; then our fatigue crept in and Roma gradually played better in the 2nd half.

i havent seen anyone blame the result on gio, can you quote one?
Of course he can't, because it didn't happen. I've sporadically checked out the threads, people are laughing at Giovinco and regretting that we bought him because his cameo was terrible again - nowhere did it say he was responsible, it was just another bad performance on top of a mountain of such.

But then again, how do you expect Hustini to understand this, when he can't even get it into his head that no apologies are being made for Mirko's play today. All people said in the thread was that he had a terrible performance, but that the terrible performance doesn't change anything - he's still nr. 1 by quite a long stretch. That's the difference between terrible performances once in a while and terrible performances on a regular basis.

I didn't watch the game, but I kind of had a feeling we would not do well against Roma by fielding pretty much the same team. Players like Padoin, Giaccherini, Marrone and Isla should have had a run out.

We are the champions after so many years, that means we lost the hungry eyes of the tiger.
We have just secured qualification in the next CL stage with a convincing 3-0 victory, that means we lost a bit more eagerness!
We would be first even after a loss, that means we could settle with a draw.
It is really difficult for our team to keep focus and beat each and every match, Roma was pissed cause they were raped a couple of days ago, showed more passion and only got that game with one goal, smth that wouldnt happen if Chiellini was out there.

So chill, ppl, its not the end of the world...
