At the beginning of next week the Prosecutor Chinè should close the investigation and in case the version of Mourinho is deemed the right one, Serra would receive a ban till end of the season.

Juventus case? Shouldn't have happened during the season: it is an element of ALTERATION of the championship. So far only HYPOTHESIS of crime: I hope that the penalty will be RECONSIDERED because it is ASYMMETRICAL both at European and Italian level."

Trying to appease our fans by sucking up a bit since Serie A viewing figures are down. Why not open their mouths before the verdict. Its too late now, the league lost any credibility left.

The only consolation is, if we can find any, while Napoli is having tremendous season and will win the title, this season because of everything that has transpired is falsified and title wont be worth as much. It will be pointed out in years to come.

@juve123 Also to be remembered, season 2000/01, the game in Turin between Juve and Roma finished 2-2. We would have closed the gap to 3 points with a win. Roma won the title by 2 points in the end. In that particular match Roma fielded more than 3 non EU players, since just days before the match they conviniently changed the rules. Always a shit league.

Or the year before and playing away to Peruggia in the last round while the pitch looked like a swimming pool. Colina, that mofo, threw the ball countless of times to test if it would bounce off the field. It didnt. Yet we played and lost the game and title.

So many conspiracy theories

Torino 1972
Torino have lived in the shadow of Turin rivals Juventus for many years now, but back in 1972 the Granata were on the cusp of lifting the league title. They were trailing 2-1 against Sampdoria when Aldo Agroppi looked to have restored parity when his header crossed the line. Cue scenes of euphoria, but referee Enzo Barbaresco saw fit to award Sampdoria a goal-kick.

Confused and deflated, Torino lost and watched on as Juventus lifted the title. Barbaresco would later admit to miscalculating his decision; though that was of little consolation to Torino fans.

Fiorentina title denial of 1982

It’s been the fuel for one of the bitterest rivalries on the peninsula and adds to the controversy surrounding Juventus in this time period. The Old Lady were equal on points with Fiorentina going into the last game of the season, with La Viola only managing a 0-0 draw after a goal from Francesco Graziani was chalked off by referee Maurizio Mattei for fouling Cagliari goalkeeper Daniel Bertoni.

Juventus, who were facing Catanzaro, survived an early penalty claim and then were awarded their own penalty when Costanzo Celestini was viewed to handled the ball. Liam Brady converted and Juventus had their 20th league title.

Turone goal

Regarded as one of the most debated events in Serie A history, the conclusion of the 1980-81 season is bathed in controversy. League leaders Juventus welcomed second place Roma to Turin, with ten minutes remaining Maurizio Turone put his header past Dino Zoff to put Roma ahead, but referee Paolo Bergamo inexplicably ruled Turone offside and the match finished without a goal.

Juventus lifted their 19th Scudetto two matches later and Roma fans became incensed over the decision of Paolo Bergamo. Still a hot topic today, there has been never ending argument and counter-argument over the reliability of the slow motion footage.
