TBH, I dont think he can. Like I've said before, Del Piero has lost it, not just physically, but mentaly as well. He doesnt have the courage to go at defenders any more, nor the cockiness to get by them.
Just watch one game, huh?
OK, maybe I should watch the game against France in the EUro 2000 Finals, or the CL Final against Milan, when Lippi was in charge and DP was "Excellent", or maybe the matches against Barcelona, or the missed penalty against Deportivo that saw us kicked out of the CL, or almost every big match where he has choked...

Fabio Capello has urged his side not to get too concerned despite their second defeat on the trot, while Palermo are relishing every moment of their victory.
“We gifted the goal to Palermo after 12 minutes and until that point the game was in the balance,” stated the Juve boss after their 1-0 loss.
“They were very well organised on set-pieces and were able to make the most of the counter-attack in the second half when we poured forward in search of an equaliser.”
This was a more disappointing overall performance than the midweek 1-0 defeat to Sampdoria and alarm bells are ringing, especially if Milan beat Lazio on Sunday evening and cut the gap to just two points.
“We must keep our heads up and look forward,” insisted Capello. “Let us not forget that we are still top of the table and will get ourselves back on track.”
Francesco Guidolin was on Cloud Nine after Palermo’s first League victory over Juventus since 1948-49.
“I think this was the best Rosanero performance of the season so far,” commented the Coach. “We were up against a fantastic team, so we had to raise our game.”
The Sicilians sent a packed out Stadio Renzo Barbera wild with joy after Franco Brienza’s winning goal, especially as goalkeeper Matteo Guardalben barely made a save.
“We dominated the match and deserved to win it. The thing that gave Juve the most problems was our constant pressure in midfield and determination. This is an incredible squad that surprises even me with its achievements.”
Palermo are now temporarily in sixth place and battling for the Champions’ League spots despite playing their first Serie A season in three decades.
“This day will remain in the history books,” said Luca Toni as the Sicilian celebrations raged on through the night.
“After a difficult week, we really wanted to give these fans something to enjoy and we managed it. We’re playing well and must keep our feet on the ground.”

I think we played a very bad match, I don't care what Capello said about dominating the game if we cannt create dangerous scoring opportunity.....
My rating:
Buffon 6: I don't think the goal was his responsibillity as our deffenders were very bad markers in sit-pieces... and as always when we need him we can count on him...
Zebina 6: most of Palermo's action came from his flank.... But he was OK...
Canna 6.5: not a great match but solid as always ...
Thuram 6: a deffender of his tall should make a better presense in air balls...
Birindelie 6.5: He is not class but every time u play him u know he will give 150%.... I think he was our best player in first half and subbing him wasnt the best decision Capello made...
Tacchi 6: not an impressive match for Tacchi he should work more if he wanna win a starting spot...
Emerson 6.5: the performance of Puma is rarely effected by the presseure of matches.... he win a lot of balls in the middle and rarley lose it... u cannt ask for more...
Zambro 6.5: but him in the left but him in the right he will do the job....
Oliviera 4.5: every touch, cross, free kick he made tell one thing "I'm not MATURE enough" I have said this before and no one seem to agree.... just watch Zlatan's face each time Oliviera play a stupid free kick...
Zlatan 5: Mr. Palermo deffenders success on controlling him...
Trezeguet 4.5: I read in many internet sites that he wil be a starter... i see his name in the match starting lineup... but in the game I couldnt find him and first time I saw him was seconds after the reffere final whistle shecking hands with Palermo players....

It seems this is the start of the fall for mighty juve , samp started it and know palermo and next udinese . i was not surprised at all with the loss, in fact i was surprised how we managed to hold on to 1-0 loss. the team is pathstic , all our players plays separatly , no solid performance , everybody touch the ball want to get rid of it , capello says we were dominating ??????
