Really another pathetic match. I do not even know which match is worse, this one or the half-ass display against Sampdoria at the Delle Alpi. Again I witness another performance where our players have no ideas in attack, nobody playing in the same wavelength as each other, and absolute half-ass displays by most of our players. At one instant during the match I saw Zambrotta on the left side of the pitch just outside of the opposition box with two defenders covering him, albeit while nobody else was showing for the ball, nobody else moving into a support position. So Zambrotta is all alone out there trying to take on two defenders while Zlatan and Trezeguet stand in the box and Emerson practically standing motionless on the top of the 18. How are we supposed to win games when nobody is moving and working for each other? I do not know if I have ever seen such a Juventus team this lousy and unmotivated in attack with nobody playing in tone with each other. This is something we must fix because quite frankly it's embarrasing and will hardly get wins for us. So the attack once again was piss poor.

Moreover, Capello should have just left Blasi on the bench and brought on somebody who can do something in attack, like Del Piero. I do not know how Capello is going to fix this problem, but he better because our team is in disaray. And for those who say Nedved and Camoranesi are not that important to the team anymore are obviously wrong, because once again we struggled to make any sort of chances on goal. Hell the closest we came to scoring was with the help of Palermo Captain Corini; that is just friggin pathetic. We desperately need Nedved back.

Buffon is making me question whether or not he is the best keeper in the world anymore. He was at fault for the goal, punching the cross out to an open Brienza to fire away the game for Palermo. Right now Petr Cech is the best keeper in the world.

Zebina at least gives us an attacking presence on the right in some way, however his defensive skills are lacking.

Thuram was rather poor tonight and does not seem to be with it always. He did not have a bad game however he made some mistakes that could have cost us.

Cannavaro saved our asses many times during the match, especially a few nice saving takles on Toni and Santana. Thank God we have this man in our defense.

Birindelli is just not Juventus quality anymore. He made some mistakes in defense and also gave the ball away too many times. He was good in attack but now he is poor. However he should be taking the freekicks because thats the only thing he can really add to the team.

Olivera should not be taking the freekicks, seriously. I do not know what got into him tonight, and I can tell you he will not be doing much of that nonsense again. Apart from that Olivera was running and making some good passing plays. But its still not good enough.

Emerson was once again not very inspirational in midfield, and apart from some good tackles and easy passes he did not do much. We need more.

Tacchinardi did very little if anything at all. I do not remember him doing anything in attack, so we need to find a partner for Emerson who can actually make sense with the ball.

Zambrotta was extremely poor tonight. He was playing midfield, and making some good runs up the wing, however his passes were ugly at best. His crosses were just as terrible. What ever happened to that Zambro who was one of the best wingers in the world? Lately he has been very poor and that is not good for us.

Trezeguet did absolutely nothing once again and when there is no service at all this is to be expected.

Ibrahimovic made very few chances and his passing was very poor once again. However the service from the midfield was completely nonexistent. Both forwards need to move more than what they have been doing.

Zalayeta? Nothing. Get rid of him.

Blasi should have stayed on the bench for Del Piero.

Scary thing is I do not see us changing our mentality and style of play one bit. Capello is set on this system and he has to make the team work in attack. Something needs to be done because if we lose the next match the Scudetto is officially gone people.

The creative players usually get farmed out to other clubs or it's a case of, " we do not need anyone"a la Moggi. Maresca was our pirlo but i still feel biased in regards to Alex but what do i know. All is not lost and i'm sure we will regroup in time but talk about allowing Milan back into the title race but i guess thats why Serie A is so exciting.

Not really. In all the matches we have won we at least created some opportunities on goal.

TBH, I feel that the pople here tend to overreact and overdramatize things.

Relax, just cool down and think about things with a clear head. After one win the team is being hailed as the sveiours of the world, and after a loss they are being spat on. Relax people, the truthe is neithe here nor there, it is somewhere in the middle.

We do miss a lot of players, most namely Nedved, and I'm sure the coaching staff and directors know more about the situation than we do and that they are doing their best to fix things, but you have to understand that things are more complex that we might think. It's easy to be the general after the battle and point out the misstakes after they happen, but everyone, including Capello and the players, do their best. SOmetimes it just isnt enough, and that is the reality, but such is the life of every player and every football club. You win some, you lose some. But the most important thing is not to jump to extremes all the time and not to overreact, one way or the other.

Juts calm down people, the season is still long and a lot of things can still happen. Juts chill.

I remember you posted the same stuff 2 seasons ago.
Really ?????

I'd like to see where I said we'd get "destroyed" by Real 2 years ago

I know I said it would be 2 tough matches, and that they had some real firepower, but I never said we'd get destroyed, like I think we will now....

Zlatan, with all due respect (!!!!), its not these 1 or 2 games that have set off the alarms, its the way we've been playing for the last 3 months.....

I do know that, but my post still stands. When we had that 8 point lead we were already playing badly, but we were being hailed as the best team to ever grace the football field by most poeple. All I want to say is that we should calm down and that nothing good ever comes from panicking.

i havent watched the match, so i shouldnt be commenting on any players, but seriously, del piero should be fielded, im fvckin disappointed. anyway, every clubs in the world have ups and downs, missing neddy has a really big impact on us, even though he wasnt as great as before, we simply dont have better midfielders apart from emerson. also this game show our lack of depth, look at our bench, we dont have any attacking midfielders to sub. i have a bad feeling that we r goin home with nothing again this season, well, it can a good thing as this means we gonna spend big in summer, but seeing my most harted team REAL MADRID eating us alive is not fun, i gonna hide myself from my friends for a month if it does happen. please! where is the juventus i used to support

would ppl kindly stop insulting capello and del piero, no1 here wants today result and hopefully it wont happen again. UNITED WE STAND

Is it always like this Andy, when Zlatan is having a bad game, it's always the " Midfield had to do better to produce some for the attackers "???

I want Del Piero to leave. I want Del Piero to leave and prove Capello just how good a football player he is. That certainly is better than seeing a good player get destroyed by some "coach" who has so much lust for power that he neglects what's good for the team. I ****ing hate Capello.
me too, Dp would better leave Juventus, not because of his Form BUT because of Capello, I really wanna See Dp playing in Germany 2006....and i think Under Capello he'll never be there....

that's what I think as well. And though a lot of people hate Becks here, has it really brought that much good to Man U? IMO Man U lost their soul when Becks left.
Agreed

No but you guys dont understand Del Piero will never leave Juve, he made a promise to Angelli to stay. Those were Angellis last wishes and he will stay with Juve till his career is over.

And I suppose if Del Piero had played today he would have scored a hattrick, saved a penalty, helped an old granny get to her seat, catched Osama Bin Laden and made a chocolate cake for the players, all by himself?
