Possible formations:

Palermo (4-3-2-1): Sirigu; Cassani, Goian, Bovo, Balzaretti; Nocerino, Migliaccio, Bresciano; Pastore; Cavani, Miccoli

A disposizione: Rubinho, Melinte, Blasi, Simplicio, Bertolo, Budan, Mchedlidze

Injured: Hernandez, Liverani, Tedesco, Kjaer

Juventus (4-3-1-2): Buffon; Zebina, Legrottaglie, Chiellini, Grosso; Camoranesi, Felipe Melo, Marchisio; Diego; Amauri, Trezeguet

A disposizione: Manninger, Grygera, Caceres, De Ceglie, Poulsen, Giovinco, Iaquinta

Injured: Sissoko, Cannavaro, Del Piero, Tiago
I guess we'll rely on the counter attack in this game, so I see Gio's inclusion is a must!!!
We need his pace...

Why don't we try IQ with Gio???

I really want to see Gio as SS...He may excel there and somehow compensate the absence of Il Capitano!!!
Giovinco and Diego have so far not played together at all. IMO, Giovinco and Diego can actually interchange the Seconda Punta and Trequarista position frequently and easily in a match and make them difficult to be picked up or man-marked.

why are you so sure we'll play on the counter?..they have only one win and 3 draws..they're 15 on the table...so i want a possesive game from juventus...we need to show them who's boss..and pleasee...0-2 at half time.

Well...Palermo is still feared in Sicily regardless their results so far.
We are tired after Munich match...
I'd be over the moon if we win playing on the counter.

P.S Juve is always the boss my friend ;)

I'm afraid about the fatigue too but if we start complaining about it, what will we do in april, may?...The teams that play against us give all like there's no tomorrow...that's why i think we're the true champions of italy :)juventus:). But we need to play the same way after scoring one goal (bologna) or pushing for the win (bayern)...that is Juventus imo :p

That's what I am talking about...
I believe we'll hurt them on the counter!!

Just my 2 cents.

I'm getting tierd of seeing two big, pure strikers out there. It just dosnt work IMO.

Every time we play with two of Trez/IQ/Amauri they always seem to be in eachother way or trying to get out of eachother way. Instinctivly they open the passing lane as all of them truly lack in game vision and rarely they are able to provide two vaild passing option to the passer cause on of them always seem to back down and wait while the other one gets into position.

We can't play with two pure strikers. Let Gio play while Del Piero is out, Even if he plays badly I guerntee the "lone" striker will preform much better.

Giovinco to play with Diego it would be the best thing could happen for me in this first matches!! we just should try it and am sure it will be so fuckin' great. they can do a great damage with each other.

You're exactly right. Gio playing as an SS will give him some freedom to float out to the wings and cut back in as he wishes.

If the wing-backs are whipping in quality crosses, having 2 towering forwards may not be a bad thing. The problem though is that they are not getting those kind of crosses ...

Now that Ale is out for a month again. Trezeguet should start, I think he did pretty well vs Bayern, I'd probably try Diego with Giovinco behind David.

And please, start Jonathan.

I always wanted to see Diego and Giovinco play just behind the striker, but I doubt it will happen :frown2:
