remember the words by Totti?
In Italy is common throwing shit at Juventus and ofc nothing said if errors get in our ways.

I wish they would ban them as well but it's the same newspapers and media that don't want them banned cause that way they sell more papers or views.
Anyway it's disgusting.

I think that in Italy there is a serious problem with referees. They let the game become too physical and dangerous. They let the players protest and waste too much time. But the problem with the so called 'referee advantage' is only because we are by far the best team in Italy and the opposition feels that every mistake in our advantage is too much, but if it goes against us - it's a lucky break for them.

Yesterday's game just showed that. Tagliavento should have shown many yellow cards to Napoli's players and a few reds. We were kicked a lot by the opposition but we got yellow for protesting. It was a great example of poor and biased refereeing against us.

I just don't understand why Italians are still whining about referees. Calciopoli saw Juventus relegated for practically nothing. No one even know on what that decision was based and who was taking it. It felt more like a lynching than a trial. And after all that, people still whine about Juventus?

Hell, Serie A still hasn't recovered from 2006. What do they want? A league the level of Hungary's?

The problem in Italy is the refs have no balls
This... I think pierluigi was the last ref with a big pair..
If someone broke tevez' ankle in front of goal we still wouldn't get a penalty because the ref would have 50k enemies in the stadium... That's why we never get a penalty at Napoli their stadium... The refs are afraid of their supporters

also i dont knw if it's been discussed or not, but why does it matter that chiellini was offside if he didnt touch the ball?
That's what I've been wondering myself.

He didn't influence the play at all, you can't influence a cross, set pieces are played with offside traps where you get to see at least 3 players playing the offside trap to block the Keeper's vision or create space for their team-mates or even make a mess in the penalty area.

i reread the tules, and the thing that could be of contention is challenging for the ball part, but id still wait for professional opinion
