I said it tens of times before the match started that I will take the draw without even playing the match but after the events of the first half the draw pisses me off. The fact that we got so much nonchalant after scoring is one and the way Napoli played together with the red card incidence a draw seems like an ugly result. The fact that we gave them a chance to control the entire second half and even a possibility to bag the match is not acceptable. In more serious matches like the later stages of the CL it is suicide.

Buffon 7

Barzagli 6.5
Bonucci 6.5
Chiellini 7

Lichtsteiner 6
Vidal 6
Pirlo 6
Marchisio 5.5
Peluso 6.5

Vucinic 4.5
Giovinco 6.5

Matri 6
Pogba 6
Padoin N.R
pirlo 6... man that control the midfield and assist the goal... but pissy GIO get 6.5 pathetic

Off the ball, that could have defo been a red. Maybe a bit harsh, but if it was the other way around we would be asking for a red for the napoli player. And I still don't think that was a penalty.
How is it a red for pulling hair? That's inane.

100% penalty on Licht, he gets kicked ffs - what does it take for you to admit that we should've had something? :howler:

Great result. Bravo ragazzi!

There were a couple of players I wasn't pleased with at all, though, but I don't want to start any shit.

The fact is that Napoli played a better game than we did. We came away with a draw, which is a very good result at San Paolo, particularly when the hosts are fighting for lo scudetto.

Good result for us as we basically have a +7 lead over them due to head to head. The referee saved Napoli in the first half. He missed a clear penalty on Licht and Cavani should have seen red. They also got lucky with their goal, Bonucci's deflection was unlucky, but he really does need to get more on his blocks.

Our defence was superb all game long, we basically shut down Cavani and Hamsik for large portions of the game. We really should have killed the game off in the first 20 mins, Vucinic has no excuses for missing a chance like that. 2-0 and it would have been curtains for Napoli.

I'm glad we got out of their with no injuries/suspensions and with a point. Toughest place to play at in Italy. Still wish we beat them. Always next season

Forza Juve!
Dude, Arturo is suspended for the match against Catania.

How did Napoli play a better game than us? They didn't create one real opportunity.

are you serious?? show me one instance hwere it was penalized let alone a red card given for a casual hair pull, dirty yes infractionable? gimme a break. Clumsy challenge from behind with contact and no ball: always a PK

I'd say we were excellent but very wasteful in the first half, and Napoli were slightly better in the second.

I was surprised Napoli didn't go full attack, this was their only chance to catch us. They lost the Scudetto tonight.
They weren't allowed to. And then they realized that if they go full attack they are more likely to concede than score. Also, I think that the match in Udine on Monday prevented them from preparing well for tonight. They didn't have the strength to pressure and run as they normally do. On the other side, we had an easy match vs Siena and that helped us a lot. They were restricted to long shots and we never let them counter attack us. Imo, Mazzarri did well not to ask from his players to go full attack. That would have definitely lost them the scudetto.

Same old history....We create the chances but our strikers can't make any good out of them. Vuci should have scored.

All in all, good to see our BEAST Chiellini back in form so quickly. And hell, Peluso is getting better and better every match, i'm really proud of him today.

Pirlo had a so so match, a great assist, some great passes but lost the ball way too many times and almost cost us the match.

We could've won. But not a bad result at all.

Disappointing 2nd half. What was irritating was the number of times that fvcker inler was allowed to shoot.
When bonehead is fvcked up, he is really fvcked up. That header he kicked on one of their corners and Buffon saved it, was pure striker style. If gone in, would have been the jewel on the crown of his own-goals.

Vucinic, pls stay of the field for at least a month, enough with that boy. Plays like he's playing soccer at the beach.. Should have scored the 0-2, game played..

And that ugly buga face Cavani, disgreace.. Why not a red card? Referee was scared he would die in maffipoli.

Oh, and I'm disappointed how Chiellini went to hug Cavani in the end. I don't like seeing him soft.

They won almost every 1-on-1 incident. Pay attention! :p

Behrami, despite some errors in the second half, did exceptionally well in fighting our midfield.

cavani not scoring today was just fantastic, he had atleast two great chances and would for sure have scored had he not been in horrible form. considering the second half the result is great for us. both teams was clearly more conserned with not loosing this match, then trying to win it.

Shame, because he most probably won't play against Celtic (risks suspension if yellowed). Then again, he gets nice two weeks rest. He didn't play in the last week(s) either, so he'll be ready for the last months of the season.
