Why does Krasic get ruled out for 3 matches after a post-match review for diving a couple of seasons back, but Cavani blatantly elbows a player in the head and there's no post match review?

I'm guessing the rules have changed since then?

The video evidence showed that Krasic dived. The referee didn't see the dive and gave a penalty (he didn't punish Krasic). The ref two days ago was told that Cavani elbowed Chiellini and he decided that Cavani should be yellow carded, or in other words, the referee already punished Cavani so now video evidence can't be used, which wasn't the case with Krasic and his dive.

I see - but in both cases the ref made a decision which as wrong. So Why can the decision be changed in Krasic's case but not in Ratvani's?

Just the way the rules are.

Rather poor compromise that was reached to allow post-match video reviews, but still try to maintain the authority of the referee.

The concern is Ratvani goes on to score heaps of goals in the next couple of matches, allowing Napoli to get even closer to Juve.

Oh well - easy solution - Juve must win all remaining matches.
