I never said these guys aren't talented. You seem to have missed a point here. I said: you don't have to be talented at all to play in that position. Most of the guys playing there are idiots.
Maybe Juve ought to sign you up to fill in at RB, then.

It's an Alliance, not a Festival.

And our crusade is to purge the world of people who put forward ridiculous tactical ideas.

What about Mellberg-Poulsen-Legro-Molinaro?
This actually makes the most sense. De Ceglie playing RB would be the most awkward thing to watch. I wouldn't mind seeing Ariaudo play but it might not be the best game for him to be thrown into.

He is a CB and only a CB. We could call up one of the RBs from the primavera, and play Mellberg in the middile. But there is a reason Ariaudo is with the senior team and they arent, he is considered ready and good enough, and them not so much. Hence they would be a bigger risk then him, even if you would take less defensive risk from an RB then a CB ofcourse, but its still a difference between players.

Losing Chielleni and Grygera both for this match will be a big blow imo. The offside trap you guys rely on so much needs a coherent unit, defenders who have played together before.

Yes, too true, but its mainly Ariaudo who isnt familiar with it. The rest are. With Lazio, despite their back four playing with eachother ALOT they still suck BALLS with offside traps, Delio allways plays with that tactic, and it backfires on them very often. They cant make it wrong no matter how often they try.

Ale's two goals last season exactly due to this imcompetence, and several cases in this season too, like the 3 goals conceaded against Udinese.

So basically, even if its not optimal for us, its way worse for our opponents.

Legro is the one who orchestrates the offside game. It is all down to how commanding he can be to make it work with new comers.
