Lets be fair, this Reggina team is even slower and more ponderous than we are at our worst. It was absolutely no contest. BUT, the boys did well and what they had to and finally a clean sheet!
thanks for a dose of some reality...

Tiago actually proved that he can run, and make a pass or two....lets jump for joy !!:weee: :rolleyes2

my full match report tomorrow...I'm tired

I think Zanetti might be a little underapreciated amongst us. I mean, yeah he used to play for Inter, and yeah he has the same name as fuck-head Javier. But cristiano is coolness man, really.

Anyway I'm high :D

I can't wait to read Dominic's review. I'm sure he'll say something like; "overall I wasn't too impressed with Tiago. He made some good passes here and there but his positioning was lacking and he offered little work rate in the defensive department. Oh and his hair is simply not as nice and straight as Camo's." :D

I'm sure you were terribly concerned about Juve while watching the Barcelona game.

very good win but i have to see even before last night i wasn't impressed with Reggina.

Nevertheless we destroyed them when other teams couldn't and without all our guns.

I hope gigi isn't injured ?

and who assisted the 2nd goal ?

From the few minutes I saw yesterday, I second that ..

No news still about Gigi .. and Trez tried to shoot for the second goal but the ball just fell in front of Brazzo .. and he shot it from there :) .. I don't know if you call that an assist or not :p ...

Legrottaglie's miracles

Exploiting your chances in the best possible way: sometimes this is how you become a star player. This time it happened to Nicola Legrottaglie, called upon to replace injured Andrade, in the spotlight for a first-rate performance, and for the goal that unlocked the match. The Bari-born defender was all smiles (and rightly so!) when Juventus Channel interviewed him, and joked: “At the end of the game I said to Buffon there had been two miracles: my goal and the fact that we kept a clean sheet… I’m really happy, this is a day I’ll remember for a long time, it was wonderful to hear the fans singing my name, especially if I think about when they used to boo me… The goal? I used to score with my head more, now I’ve taken up the habit of scoring with my feet. Our defence? We did very well, Criscito played great and he replied to the critics on the pitch. I think the defence is strong if we all work together, not if it has big names in it”.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm really glad for him, I hope he can keep up this forum and stay away from blunders.

Winning without the likes of Ale, Pavel, Mauro.... is simply perfection.

I know everything is at the begining, but Claudio Ranieri has the balls and I admire him for the way he's working and dealing with players. Keep it up Ranieri:tup:.

Reading Legro's statement really made my day, the man was hated all over, but I kept faith in him, was unlucky 03/04, the man recieved way too many injuries, and now he's back. Forza Legro.

Palladino's goal was pure class. David is David. I noticed from the highlights that Nocerino was full of energy, moving all over.

Zanetti is becoming day by day one of the best players in his position in Serie A, yes you're reading that right:agree:

Thanks for the reports everyone.
