Jorge Andrade, Marchionni and Camoranesi were injured,Zebina was suspended and players like Del Piero,Nedved,Chiellini,Almiron and Grygera were sitting on the bench and we managed to win-against a weak Reggina- 4:0.I think today nobody disappointed.
Buffon: Not really tested.Unfortunately substituded,hopefully nothing serious.
Birindelli: Surprisingly up to his task.
Legrottaglie: Was solid when he was needed,scored and was always dangerous on corners.
Criscito: Good anticipation,even if he wasn't tested a lot,looks like he got more self-confidence.
Molinaro: Played pretty good defensively, he should work on his crosses.Altough not bad,can't be ahead of Chiellini on long-term.
Salihamidzic:He was fighting like always.Scored a goal and had another chance.Can't reach Camo of course but very useful squadplayer.
Zanetti: Solid.
Nocerino: He shouldn't be a right midfielder because his crosses are mostly not good.Had a good game though and worked hard.A fighter with technique and grit. A future azzurri player,I'm sure.
Tiago: Was very active and had some very nice passes,was definately better than Almiron in his matches so far and he deserves to stay in the starting line-up IMO.
Trezeguet: Did what he is paid for and participated more on the game than usually,gotta love him.--->101
Palladino: Took his chance to shine by playing great with some nice double-passes and technique,a pleasure to watch,MOM.
I like to mention one thing: We are playing with Criscito,Nocerino and Chiellini as starters in most matches and that is what really makes me happy&proud.I mean which top team in Italy is playing with so many youngsters?Milan,Inter&Co. are dreaming of players like this I guess.Despite the three I mentioned we got Palladino on the bench and players like Giovinco and Marchisio on loan.I think we don't have to fear the future.
