Nedved played a 10/10 game and the only thing missing was him getting on the score sheet. He then wins a penalty by a personal effort. He didn't ask for it but Del Piero should have given it to him.
I don't think Nedved's the type of guy who worries about scoring goals. He thinks about the team first and foremost so I think he's satisfied.

Brilliant performance from Juve. The perfect way to gear up for next week's clash with Milan.

The only negative to take from this game is the clash between Del Piero and Palladino. What the hell was that?
Let's not make too big a deal out of that, these things happen.

Congrats ya'll. It just seems like its two extremes, we either fight for the three points with a 2nd half late goal, or totally thrash our opponents.

On a different note, what's up with the Mickey Mouse Club cheering we saw towards the end of the 2nd half. Greg also noted this earlier. I mean I just hope this isn't part of our new management's "strategy" to shed the club in a more preferable light. I don't remember I saw Curva Sud tonight once!!
I don't feel like looking for the article but a part of the security measures was that Ultras were not allowed this week and they were substituted by school kids. It is not going to be all the time but a part to cool down the rage.

That was only for the Atalanta game.

Senior players do this kinda stuff sometimes to wake up the youngsters. Don't you remember John Charles slapping Sivori on the pitch to calm him down?

I'm sure Ale and Palla will explain everything soon.

Palladino wanted the ball when Del Piero was dribbeling. Instead of passing it to Palladino, Marchionni recieved the ball (as he was in a much better position) and therefor, Palladino got a bit frustrated.
You sure? I thought Del Piero got angry at Palla because Palla could have played in DP but chose to pass it wide to Nedved I think.

Anyways, I'm sure DP and Palla will fix things in training. They always speak highly of one another.

And Nedved should have given it to Criscito , to make up for stolen FK. :D

Having Camo in the squad over Brazzo, and Nedved playing to his potential, really does make a huge difference. It also allows us to get away with Zanetti/Nocerino in the middle. Nocerino and Zanetti marked Palermo out of the midfield. They had shit options to pass to, and as a result, they're attacks were weak.

Nedved MOTM. His passing was superb, and he was involved throughout the 90 minutes.

Iaquinta did his job well. I like how he constantly applies pressure on the defence when they have ball, instead of just allowing them to pass along the back. He forced alot of mistakes from the Palermo backline today.

Del Piero off the bench worked well. A goal and a nice assist. Good work capitano, although u shouldn't headbutt your own teammates.

Good team effort, and to win by such a margin against Palermo is impressive w/e way u cut it. I wasn't expecting much today, but came away surprised. Forza Juve!

Yeah, let's not make a fuss about it.
Palladino complained to Ale, who overreacted a bit, putting the kid in place and proving (to himself?) that he's in charge on the field.

happy with the result. Juve was great, Palermo had no legs. Ranieri should have brought on Tiago instead of Palladino. There was no pressure and Zanetti needs a little rest. Perfect time to it.

13m € down the drain.

one word for this performance by the Old Lady : COMMANDING

the defence was fantastic, never looked unruffled at any point in the match...midfield looked sharp with Camo supporting Neddy very well...attack worked extremely hard, Trez and Vinnie's off-the-ball movement was excellent...my man of the match has to bePavel Nedved...looked revitalised and was running circles round the Palermo defence...special mention to Domenico Criscito...made defending look like an art... and what can we say about Il Capitano...2 goals and an assist....simply brilliant!
Lets not overact I can't remmber a single dangerous attack by Palermo... we were not under pressure to judge.

Dude, it's not basketball, every team has a regular PK taker, ours is Del Piero, period, he doesn't have to ask anyone anything before taking it.
so? i know that, but that doesnt mean DP has to take it, its not an obligatory rule. and i didnt say that he had to ask anyone, rather offer.
