Remember that Ranieri said that he doesn't care much about friendlies and tournaments and he only cares that on the 25th we will see the real Juve and if we don't win this game then i don't know when we will start winning. I am optimistic tough and i think we will win against livorno but for sure we will not trash them. I think it will be either 1-0 or 2-1 for Juve!

If we can't win this one what chance will we have against the better sides? It probably won't be convincing or pretty, & even if it is, how seriously do you take a win against Livorno, a side we are expected to beat? We'll win by the odd goal, 1-0, 2-1, something like that...& yes, at this point only getting the win matters!

this is livorno's record in the summer

Livorno
July 17: Pol Dimaro Folgarida 0-13 Livorno
July 21: Tnt Monte Peller 0-11 Livorno
July 24: Pro Sesto 0-2 Livorno
July 28: Mezzocorona 1-2 Livorno
August 3: Carrarese 1-2 Livorno
August 5: AEK Athens 1-3 Livorno
August 7: PAOK 1-1 Livorno
August 12: Pistoiese 1-1 Livorno
August 19: Villarreal-Livorno

and this is their major moves in the summer
IN: Mazzoni (G, Lecco); Loviso (M, Sambenedettese), E Filippini (M, Bologna), Ribas (A, Inter), Rossini (A, Catania), Dhorasoo (M, out of contract), Volpe (A, Juventus), Tavano (A, Valencia), Loviso (M, Bologna), De Lucia (G, Parma), Pulzetti (M, Verona), Tristan (A, Deportivo La Coruna), Giannichedda (M, out of contract)
OUT: Cesar (M, Inter),Kuffour (D,Roma), Fiore (M, Valencia), Pfertzel (D, Bochum), Passoni (M, Mantova), Coppola (M, Messina), Paulinho (A, Grosseto), Morrone (M, Parma), Lucarelli (A, Shakhtar Donetsk)

some pretty decent ins with a new coach and some promising results in the summer, imo their won't be an easy game this season.

anyway am really excited and this week will go really freaking slow espcially since i have the juve fixtures hanged infront of my face at work.

Forza juve

You obviously took time & trouble to compile your post, & it is a constructive effort...

But fortunately for us, Livorno's pre season successes all came against mediocre opposition, & there's nothing in their squad list to worry a determined Juventus! The big plus is they no longer have Lucarelli, & though he's no world beater, on his day he could have done us some damage!

As I said already, if we can't beat this lot we have real problems, especially as it's a home game for us, a 2'nd reason why only a victory is a positive result!.

thanks, it wasn't that hard to copy paste though :p

the result is easily obtainable imo, but my reference i guess would be about the performance and that we won't see a great one or even a good one. I will take the results at least for these starting weeks until our injured players get back and we get into a flow.
