Great performance today, and Im not saying that because we managed to win the game only but overall we really deserved to walk with the three points with the amount of good opportunities we had this night, we could have divided those on two games and still walk out victorious in the two.

Chellini's goal was vital and that's just what I would have thought we need and I honestly thought this could break Lazio through at least the 1st half but they really seemed immune to all that despite playing away from home. Anyway, Chellini's header was exceptional and really fought well throughout the game and towards his way to the goal too while Bonucci too was excellent, his distribution of the ball too is mention worthy while his late run forward in the last minutes of the game was just the thing a Juve fan would expect in such circumstances from a defender.

Grosso didn't have by any means a good game but kept things simple and for that we should be thankful. While Sorensen had a good game but as I mentioned in his thread those continuous time wasting passes when the result isn't going our way really do bother me.

As for Marchisio, he was on fire today, literally everywhere on the pitch and I for one was shocked by his substitution and was calling for Aqua to warm the bench instead but in the end it turned out to be in our favour didn't it

Pepe was an instant hint just as he entered the pitch, he gave Krasic more space and allowed him to shift at times to the left while a couple of chances he had were perhaps some of our best in the second half. As for Melo, as usual a beast-like performance with him bossing the midfield while IQ and Quaggy really didn't click tonight with both of them equally sharing the spoils.

Alex had his chances and really looked bright for us tonight but things just didn't seem to go his way when he wanted. Finally, Krasic, Awesome Amazing Greatness you name it. He literally carried this team from start to finish. MOM no doubt.

Oh and on a final note, SECOND PLACE! Peelan here we come...

I felt Lazio's goal was partially Sorensen's fault for not getting in front of the ball or blocking it instead of trying to kick it away. Made a couple errors but they were just green mistakes.

Bonnuci, Chiellini and Krasic are the players who stood out to me. Good shift by Melo and I praise Sissoko for that pass to Krasic.

The rest seemed average. Aquilani almost scored the free-kick but that was his contribution for the whole night. We're getting the hang of this shit, half a season left now.

It was sad to see Tare's face after Krasic's goal but oh well...suck it Lazio.
