1 point? Excellent gain if you told that to me before the match begun, but not after seeing Inter this weak. Mancini proved himself he is a loser once again, I wish him to stay at Inter forever, because the only scudetto he won was by the advantage of the penalties to other rivals, maybe he can win it this year too because of Milan's failure, and our weakness (Since we are still recovering from the relegation, it isn't that easy task..).
Mancini the idiot should have owned our team with all these absences, but he couldn't, and also thanx to the stupidity of Zlatan and Cruz at fron, thanks to their misses.. As for Ranieri, sure 1 point is a very good result, just Like the one against Roma. But, we should have won over those losers, they were out of form today, and he shouldn't start with Del Piero, and with both Legro and Chiellini in the center, yeah sure we just conceeded 1 goal, but that's because we were so lucky.

Grygera: I would prefer if he played in the center and Zebina to play in his position, he could help us offensively, but still he didn't any mistake, he went forward sometimes and won us some freekicks, but Zebina could do it better. 6.5
Molinaro: defensively was good and with other defenders he organized the offside traps well, offensively he was better than prior matches, but still he shouldn't go forward, that's just not his job.. 6.5
Legrotaglie: average defender, he can play in the rest of the matches and perform it great, but not against Inter, Milan or Roma and the likes, we need a replacement. He made some technical mistakes along with Chiellini which one of them led to goal. 6
Chiellini: Keep this guy out of the penalty box, I don't feel safe when he is there and has a target to fight with, Zlatan, Vieri etc.. His place is in the left wing, he is a good tackler and a great attacking defender sometimes, but he is an idiot, and a lucky one who still is escaping the red card, let's see how far he will go. Sure pissing Zlatan off helped Zlatan get pissed and not concentrate, but do that with offensive language a la Materazzi, but not with hitting the opponets, and especially in the box. I don't know how you fools rate him man of the match, if he got a red card I wonder what you guys would rate him, so does a rating depends on a referee's decision?

Nocerino: Other than those hard tackles, he did a very good job helping the Inter midfield under form. 6.5
Zanetti: very solid display, very important player. 7
Palladino: Maybe man of the match! He won us balls he helped us defending and attacking, very good dribbler, very good game! 7
Nedved: bad match, I was expecting him to explode in this game after those frequent bad matches after other, but I still think he will come back to his form and help us later. 5.5
Trezeguet: didn't receive the balls he had to, thanks to Ranieri. If Ranieri started with Camoranesi and Iaquinta from the beginning it could be different. 5.5
Del Piero: average game, but he played against a wrong system, if he came in at the second half it could be different, but he did what he could have done. 5.75
Iaquinta: why the hell a player like him stays on the bench?? someone please explain this. he was in a great form, but sent to the bench for that?? still he is doing great jobs, an assist and a some great passes and stole ball from opponents as well. 7
Camoranesi: great come back! It's great to have him back again, he did wonders and change the game in that little of remaining time. Grande Camo 7.25

i agree about the CBs ,legro is a bullshit and playing the offside trap today shows at what point our defense is weak to do a good mark-man .
i would surely play with grygera and chiellini at the center .
chiellini was good and stopping zlatan is not an easy job ,i think he deserves 6.5.
about c.zanetti,i think he did a very good job ;he's no doubt our best midfielder this year.
palladino was good enough but i think his right place is not at the wings but as a second striker.he is young,good dribbler,fast but he needs more experience and courage as i feel he can dribble more than that and go forward more but after one dribbling he searches always someone to pass him the ball even if its not the best option.
del piero hadnt been average,he was just awful.
camoranesi is simply our best attacking player: great skills,great facility in eliminating the opponents,accurate passes and crosses:just a world class player.
i wont say ranieri's subs were good because the starting line-up wasnt so he was just fixing his errors and he also did it late in the game.
This game is the one to look what is our position after we come back to Serie A.
With every results we've got until now and this result against Inter.
It's clear that we can compete with them, but we do need some reinforcement to conquer them.
With good replacement for our old players and good development from our young players, we're back to where we belong.

True Zanetti and Nocerino both had an easier job to fight for the ball because everything was pushed into the middle. But considering that Chiellini isn't exactly a CB and taking into account that Legro hasn't played that much in such a big game, putting a tactic offside plan was very risky.
Now if that was calculated that we concede one goal maximum, then I must say Ranieri didn't do a bad job. But lets also not forget that Zlatan's finishes are horrible, he isn't like Cruz, If he had Cruz's finishes we would be at least 2 or 3 -0 down.
But overall, yes it did help our midfielders Nocerino, Palladino and Zanetti to control more our midfield and I liked it when i saw that we're in control.

I thought Cruz was indeed fast when he controlled the ball into his chest and made his run.... Legro was too slow for him.
I don't mind the offside tactic plan at all, but i wouldn't want us to play it for 90min, during Lippi's time, we were working on both tactics not depending on one of them, we were playing the one on one and also the offside. IMO, if Ranieri played it that way, our opponents would have had lot of difficulties.
But If you play on one system and it's obvious for your opponents the tactic you're playing, then they'll try their best to enter and break your plan. It was pretty obvious what we were playing. And it was all about time until they scored.

Agree. Alternating offside traps and sitting deeper makes it more difficult for their midfielders to figure out how to reach the forwards, but it takes a lot of discipline and experience to do that.
Defences with an immense leader as Cannavaro or Nesta can do that. These players have an extraordinary insight in the game and know exactly how and when to change. The other defenders need the discipline to align on them in a second, if not they screw it up.
As our most experienced CB is Leggro, that would have been a mess.
