Ranieri: Everyone wants Juve win

Claudio Ranieri believes “all of Italy will be cheering on Juventus” when they take on the Inter juggernaut.

“I think that it is important to beat Inter not only for our own interests, but for the good of Serie A,” said the Coach.

The Nerazzurri dominated last season and after 10 rounds are already three points clear at the top of the table, so a victory in Turin on Sunday night would catapult them towards another title.

“Only Inter can throw away this Scudetto, but we will do everything we can to get in their way. The media and fans have been asking us about this moment since pre-season training, but it is not a grudge match, it’s a very important tie and all of Italy will be cheering on Juventus – except the Interisti, of course.”

Juve had been the dominant force over the last decade, but Calciopoli weakened them and their status as the club everyone loves to hate.

Now Ranieri hopes to capitalise on their new-found underdog tag to surprise Roberto Mancini’s men.

“Neither Juventus nor Inter will be content with a draw. I trust it will be an open and attacking game. I certainly won’t be the one to hold my champions back,” added the former Chelsea boss.

“In games like this you rely on people who know what Juventus v Inter represents, such as Alessandro Del Piero. I ask him for something extra because he is our symbol and our captain.

“I hope that when we come to the return leg at San Siro the gap between the two sides is still three points, as we would certainly go out there to win it.”

Pavel Nedved is an injury doubt, but is expected to battle on, while Giorgio Chiellini, Nicola Legrottaglie and Antonio Nocerino return from suspension.

“Mauro Camoranesi has recovered, but he does not have 90 minutes of match-fitness yet.”

There are plenty of these types of fans.... defending and following each player who is inform. I bet they most probably also support Arsenal, Barcelona, Inter just for the players in form.

You can't even discuss it with them, because they're following something and you're something else.
Sometimes you sound like a 16 years old kid, you really do.
Fuck off if you're questioning how much i love Juve. And like i said previously FUCK YOU to whoever who'll say or imply that i'm a Zlatan fan not a Juve fan.
I don't follow a single team in the world, only Juve, and i love all Juve players almost equally, not only one of them.

I don't love Juve for the players you fool. Zlatan was 10 years away from joining Juve when i became a Juventino. Camo, Nedved, Trez and Buffon were not here when i started to follow and love Juve.

Why are the members with Del Piero avatars so sensitive whenever Zlatan's name is mentioned ?

If there is a single member here who sounds like he's following Juve only because of one player, it's ..... yup, it's you.
If there is someone with whom you can't discuss things realistically because he's biased, it's again you.
If there is someone who hates a player for the most stupid reason in the world (taking his poster-boy's place in the team) it's again you.

I don't give a damn about Zlatan Ibrahimovic. I have no problems insulting the bastard and swearing at him, especially now when he's not a Juve player.
But it's a fact that a player like him will improve our attack. You think there is a coach in the world who wouldn't want him in his team ? You think Ranieri will say NO to him if we have a chance to sign him ?
The player will improve Juve. That's what i want. I am a Juve fan and Juve fans care about Juve and want Juve to become the strongest in the world again.
You, on the other hand, don't care about that as much as you care about Del Piero keeping his place in the starting line-up.
Or am i wrong ?

I just hope that we can keep a level head against these assholes, they can really play, but I expect that we can contain them and pull some tricks from the hat...really, it's Ranieri's realest test yet, this means he's got to win this one and make it a real classic. I hope we show some class too and play entertaining football.
I agree with you (partially) Alen, anybody that dumps Juve is an enemy, any player that refuses our offer in the transfer market is an enemy, any team that beats us is an enemy, anything that comes to stand in the way of Juventus at any point in the realm of football is an enemy. But if we're offered Zlatan along with 1m pounds, I'd simply pass. He's good, but he squanders alot, lets see him surpass Trez this season, with all of the quality players he's got as support @ Binta.
Someone better tell Secco to sign Huntelarr in Jan. God forbid, should Trez get injured, we're in trouble.
Nobody kicks ass like Juve. Forza Italia.

I think that Chiellini would better keep Zlatan. That fucking shitface got some street rules in his playing, and you must put someone who is ready to follow this.
I agree that Nedved is an absolute must. His presence is priceless and just to give one good pass that he is capable of in the whole game it would be perfect.Camo is also a must if he is capable of playing.
We must play with cold heads and play 90 minutes.
I am afraid that Legro can make a mistake, thats why is better to put Chiellini on Zlatan.I want Juve to win more than anything but they are really strong.Fucking Pirelli fuck buy almost everyone on the market but we are one and only ,Juve.

Mancini: We Are The Best

Inter Coach Roberto Mancini has turned up the
heat ahead of tomorrow's big match with Juventus by saying that the Nerazzurri are the best.

The two teams meet in the much-awaited Derby d'Italia in Turin, with Inter still unbeaten at the top of Serie A after 10 games.

Juventus are also going well and sit in third place, just four points behind their opponents.

"We have to try and win - and we can - to remain in solitary command at the top of the table," said Mancini.

"This is because we have eight or nine hard games in front of us. We have to continue to win if we want to stay in front.

"Juventus will want to beat us because we're probably the best team at the moment. Also, they carry behind them everything that happened last year, which wasn't our fault. Inter want to win because Juventus have always been our rival. The players are just thinking about playing and winning, but I think this is quite normal."

The Bianconeri were infamously relegated to Serie B following the Calciopoli crisis in 2006 but they have immediately impressed on their return to the top-flight.

"In spite of everything Juventus are up there in the table," added Mancio.

"They might have trouble fighting for the Scudetto until the end, but they have great spirit and this has always helped them down the years.

"This is the famous spirit of Juventus who have always played to be the strongest of all. This has helped them improve greatly. If Inter have this spirit it can be important for us."

Our players really need to have a desire to win this one.

We know Inter want to win it and they will have the ref on their side, it will be tough.

(First post..!)

Tbh, I'd really like to see Tiago starting. Even though he's not as defensive as Nocerino or Zanetti, his creativity can be proved crucial.
Overall, despite being the underdogs, we have a chance of winning, if we play wise and if the ref doesn't act as Inter's 12th player..

Forza Juve!

I hope camelface's team-mates give him such a hard time about saying us winning the scudetti that it puts him off his game! :p

Hello to all! I'm semi-new. This is only my first post but I have been lurking here for ages. I just wanted to say...

FORZA JUVE!!!!!!!!!

Since Inter is unbeaten at the moment, it will only be right for Juve, the true champion of Italy to kick their ass and put them losers back to where they belong... behind Juve in the league table.
