If Torino could halt us when they had a serie b team, while we had a top CL team, just by their sheer will, then we can halt Inter now, we are NOT allowed to lose for many SACRED reasons.
The players and the managers do not wont to dissapoint the fans anymore.
They realised the importance of this match 2 years ago, they have created unpreceded expectations.
If we lose this game we will not only lose any title illusions we may have, but we might risk our CL position as well, this much will greatly affect our mentality and Inters too, certainly for the rest of the season and maybe even more.
There are no excuses, if there is one game we must win at all costs, for the entire year, its this one, its a very hard task but not an impossible one.
Whatever happens we will all be here supporting Juventus in the next day,
but Juvetus has now the chance, to make us walk down the street with a proud smile in our faces again, its time to shown to the world of what we are really made of, world cup champions, conspiracy masterminds, referee mistakes, injuries, suspensions, traitors and born chokers may not and WILL NOT stop us.

If it gets ugly and they get in a similar position, as Empoli's, with Materazzi as a keeper, we ought not to stop, they need to be punished,
i wish for a 3-0 win, though i would be most pleased by a 1-0 win, granted by an undeserved penalty...thats what it will hurt them the most!!

We are the underdogs, but we have to eat them alive, chew their bones and $hit their pieces...

on a scale of 1-10 for "well said" i'd score you 23:tup:

why aren't inter's fans banned from this match? suely this is a more "high risk" match than roma-napoli or milan-roma. anyway, i prefer that they're there, just wondering though.

i want us to win this match at any cost so that Moratti could just shut put. winning this match would open the race wide open for all the teams to beat inter.

Lippi: Juventus Could Win The Scudetto

Former Juventus boss Marcello Lippi believes that his former side are capable of winning the league but accepts that Inter are the strongest side in the championship.

The two teams meet in the Derby d’Italia on Sunday, with much more at stake than just three points.

Juventus are fired up for the encounter at the Stadio Olimpico, following their demotion to Serie B last year.

The Bianconeri have made an excellent return to the top-flight this campaign and currently sit in third position, just four points behind leaders Inter.

“It will be a high quality game,” Lippi told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“For Juventus this game is not just a normal game against Inter, but it is a game to prove their supremacy.

“For sure Inter are the strongest squad in the championship but Juve are also playing well and it is possible they could overwhelm the difference in points.

“Who will win on Sunday? It is a game that you can’t predict – anything could happen.”

Lippi had two hugely successful spells at Juventus, winning virtually every domestic, European and world title on offer. However his time at Inter was less successful and he was sacked in 2001.

The channel 4 game preview article talks about how the Olympico will provide a better home atmosphere over the Delle Alpi but I always wonder how much atmosphere can really come from a 27 000 capacity stadium, especially considering that we are playing big opponents who will also bring their own supporters in the thousands to the game. I'm sure when we played Inter, Roma and Milanista in the Delle Alpi days we would make 50000 fans, though it was'nt as good for other 'smaller' games.

Zanetti explains ex-factor

Juventus midfielder Cristiano Zanetti is ready to take on former side Inter and is adamant that the Bianconeri aren’t scared of the reigning champions.

Zanetti joined the Old Lady in the summer of 2006 and played a part in helping Juve back to the top flight.

This weekend’s clash will see the 30-year-old face off against his old colleagues in the intense atmosphere of a derby.

“It will be strange to take on my old teammates, but I’m not emotional,” Zanetti revealed.

“I don’t see this as a case of revenge, I decided to leave Inter for Juve and I have no regrets.”

The Cadetti champions are buoyant after a 3-0 win over Empoli on Wednesday, but they square off against an Inter side yet to taste Serie A defeat this term.

“We are calm. It’s our first game against the Italian champions and we are well prepared,” Zanetti insisted.

“We aren’t scared. We have a great reciprocal respect, but that’s different to fear.

“It’s a big game and possibly a decisive one, but it’s too early to talk about the Scudetto race.

“We are just looking for three crucial points to improve our League position,” he concluded.

We`re playing home. so, we should play with an attacking squad! but do you think that Inter will play defensivly at the first half at least?
for me I think it`s going to be an open match, since Inter already know that our defence is our weeknes :frown2:
we`ll win this match! we must do!!
