i really think we should play zebina again
My point exctly, Zebo and Camo know each other...Allso Zebina can do much more on the flank in Attack and on D, than Grygera...Like swag sead

Maybe Ranieri should think of this formation:

Zebina----Legor----Chiellini---Molinaro/Criscito

Camo----Zanetti---Tiago----Palladino

--------Iaquinta----Trezeguet

What do u guys think?

Zebina is good and everything but he tends to give away penalties and make mistakes when he shouldn't have.

exactly. Thou I appreciate his Juve spirit and hard work and all, but if he can't control his temper that won't help us. hard tackles and all are all accepted as long as they are smart ones, away from the box and at the right time, but going on opponents and hit them intentionally for no reason, with expressing all his hate, without even caring the place he is doing and what result it could lead. I don't think that adds anything to my team, he escapes the red cards once and twice, but things will not go this way all the time.

He is no Nedved alike like someone claimed, Nedved gives stupid reactions, but Nedved is no idiot to look for troubles intentionally. same is Gattuso, Gattuso does the dirty work for his team's sake, not for personal problems or idiocy..
Remember that he is still relatively young and has plenty of time to learn to channel his aggression properly.

I don't know who was at fault.

They both had to either go back or hold the line so one of them has made a mistake.

I suspect Grygera was the one at fault, but I may be wrong.
I just re-watched the Inter goal and I think it was legro's fault.

I think he was the only defender to hold the line, all the others went back with Cruz.

Buffon:
Some would say that Buffon is man of the match but i don't think so, those of you who watch Buffon consistently knows that he did not do anything extra ordinary however when the best keeper in the world puts on a good game this is what you will get. 7

Grygera:
He didn't have his best game of the season but he was decent but he was caught too many times going forward and left his man behind. 6

Legrottaglie
As usual perfect game with one mistake that cost us a goal, therefor i will give him a 5. 5

Chiellini
I don't know where to start, he made Zlatan his bitch for the entire 90 minutes, he drove the almighty Zlatan to losing his confidence and his temper, the guy today was a world class center back, if he goes on like this he will become the best. 8

Molinaro
Got owned badly by Figo, not his day and we need start looking for replacements. 5

Nocerino
Unknown soldier however him and Zanetti were fighting hard in that midfield and giving Inter a hard time keeping or passing the ball. 7

Zanetti
Did you see that Inter fans? another player you sold to a rival team becomes and develop to a star, strong, confident, and experienced, he is better than Capello's Emerson. 8

Palladino
The future star, ran his heart out and used his skills, still lacks experience but he gave this game his all. 7.5

Nedved
along with Del Piero they disappointed big time, nothing more to say. 5

Del Piero
game was too physical for him, he should start from the bench, at least in these kind of games where we need power and pace more than anything else. 5

Trezeguet
Hollow man, but we all know it's not his fault, if Trezeguet dosn't get service then he won't do anything, therefor i am not going to rate him for justice sake.

Subs:

Camoranesi:
Welcome back, on his day he is defo up to take any player that plays in his position in the entire world, today was one those days, although he didn't play even a full half but he made an impact and god knows what would have happened if he had played from the start. 8

Iaquinta:
Never stops running never stops fighting the guy is what every football fan would like to have in his team, a real fighter.
7

Zebina
Who?
N/A

In my opinion,

It's true that Zlatan doesn't make a goal. I am very happy with that. I say good job for Chiellini.

But, Zlatan still was a threat with his passes. I am sure you can see if he give trough ball to other flank , it will be dangerous position for our defender.
Thank god,we can neutralized that with offside trap.

Let see our attacker. I can say this in not Trezegoal's day, he totally owned by Inter defender. Del Piero, only dangerous when he take FK.

Palladino play much better, he can dribble the ball past the opponent. He can't past Chivu, but it's ok. We all know it's not easy to past a defender with Chivu's calibre.

About the goals.

Inter's goal.
That was a great goal. We try to applied the offside trap, but Cruz is come from the 2nd line and with his pace he left our defenders and calmly put the ball past Buffon.

Juventus' goal
After Camoranesi and Iaquinta in, we are step up in term of creativity and pace.
Palladino's good cross , header down by Iaquinta ... he can see Camoranesi in good position to take the shot. Camoranesi without hesitate shot the ball, a little deflection and Goal. No doubt that was a superb goal. Cross, header and shot.
Nice play.

Conclusion

Juve have the possesion, but Inter with their counter attack and tricky winger more dangerous than us. Their defender is more solid than our defender. But, our defender do a good job today. I can't expect our defender to be better than this to withstand the Inter's pressure.

Chiellini plays great in centre of defense. He is tall,so he can clear the cross. He can man mark his opponent. He just need more experience and try to control his emotion.

What to improve?

With Chiellini great performance in center back, it makes a hole in our fullback.
I can't say Molinaro play bad, but he isn't good either. I think we need an upgrade for our fullback. The other fullback(right) is not great too.

For winger, Palladino plays great in both right and left wing. But he is more dangerous from the left side. He has pace, good dribble, some tricks, and good cross. Palladino played for 90' against Inter. I can see Ranieri start to put his trust on Palladino. If he can keep his form, he will be one of our future.
With Palladino on the left wing and Camoranesi on the right wing. We have pace, creativity from both wings. But, still our winger need support from the fullback.

Nocerino.. His workrate is very good, he always try to get the ball. He is the breaker. He needs to improve his way to get the ball. Because with his style of play now, his chances to get booked is very high.

I think we need to add more creativity for our central midfield. A playmaker that can keep the ball, spread the ball to wing or give great through pass for our attacker.

What gotta hurts, I still say it till now, I wanted Milan to win that night.

And If Milan would face any english side again this year, I'll wish Milan to win it.

I don't see the big deal with that.

And notice something that i said " It's good to see Milan winning it not Liverpool" ;)
Yes, you explained everything very well, just that you didn't explain one small detail : The tear in your eyes when you saw Maldini lifting the trophy. That is a normal reaction by a Juve fan so you thought there is no need to explain it ?

Have a nice wet dreams kido. I wish you to have your favorite dream of Del Piero in a Milan jersey.
No wonder you hate Ibra so much. He played for both of your bitter rivals, Juve and Inter.

honestly im pissed off we didnt end up with the 3 pts which would have bosted our morale sky high
im with everyone on this forum that agrees our top priorites for january are replacing molinaro and nedved
i dont understand how zanetti is highky rated on this forum...hes a very solid player but hes nothing special and his passing is way too inefficient....wouldnt you ppl rather see someone like lucho gonzalez, hargreaves, essien, gilberto silva, yaya toure, diarra, gago, mascherano etc......hes way behind in terms of talent with those types of players and after his passing id look into replacing him with someone more capable of being solid but also making a killer pass which zanetti is completely incapable off
grygera is decent but obviously not juve material.....IVANOVIC????ive seen him play and hes much more reliable both defensively and offensively but grygera will do for now
what really worries me...by far our weakest point is molinaro..figo owned him before his inury, cesars pass for cruz came form his side od defense also
why isnt criscito given a run at left back..hes done it for casiraghi with the u21's
i really hope to see improvements in our defensive and midfield departments
we need more solid full backs and someone to string the passes together in midfield
but as a result im not upset but i was hoping for a win of any kind over those retards who think they'll stay superior to us forver
from todays game i have hope that one day very soon we will relegate them back to the 2nd or 3rd team in italy once again
forza juve!!!

Juve played with great heart today..Yet, we all know Inter are a stronger side..but when it comes to heart Juve do succeed..I believe that Ranieri did a great job..He put people in who have heart..
-Palladino- always give's his great great and wants to prove that he is something now and in the future.
-Nocerino- same concept as Palladino like a gattuso always pumped up and tackling hard..
-Zanetti-I had a feeling Zanetti would play a great game due to the fact that he wanted to show all of Inter that they wasted not playing him and riding the bench in his spell at intermerda..He wanted to prove to those fugly inter fans that Juve were the best..
-Iaquinta- as Lippi said that iaquinta has heart to play always running to start trouble for the defensive.. when he sprinted to take down Samuel and was all up in the inter players faces..it was great when he told i think it was Cordoba to fvck off..
-Chiellini-played a great game and wanted to just completly make Zlatan miserable..He all over talking here and there ..Yet, he shows heart when he protestes like his going to kill the ref..
-Buffon-always has heart..he shows heart with his great saves and always inspires his teamate like a kind of captain..he wanted to prove that his side played with heart..
Nedved- I see something wrong with Nedved..he wasn't been playing like he usual does but..i dnt except his knee's always to hold up like the interview off him speaking about how his knee's ache but i do adore him for never EVER givin up.....

when we signed iaquinta, i must admit i was baffled to say the least, but he is a real juventino with real spirit, along with chiellini and sometimes, in games like these, that is more important than just skill like zlatan. forza vinny and forza giorgio the monster.

its important to remember that if maxwell hadnt been superb in defense we probably would have won this game. He slid in and blocked two almost point blank shots.

Despite the lack of wherewithall in midfield to formulate attacking forays, the match turned out to be quite entertaining. We still do not have any personality going forward with the ball. This Juventus is like the high school dunce you once knew who sits in the middle of the class drawing cartoons of medieval battles and only ever saying the words, "can I have a fryyyyy?" For a team of such high royalty, we really are the most ugly side in sight. Even Lazio mounts better attacks than we do. Our impotentancy with the ball can easily be explained by the inane straight 4-4-2 with two defensive midfielders being in charge of the distribution. But when Mauro Camoranesi entered the pitch, we found inroads to the Inter defense and finally seemed to have some personality.

While on Wednesday our defense looked solid, today it didn't need much for it to fall apart. It doesn't have to be said that Legrottaglie is not the most solid stopper we've ever had, and that we certainly miss the strength of Andrade back there. Inter's defense contains three world class defenders while ours features none (at the moment). This is why we need to spend some more money in this department and inquire take chances on players such as Ivanovic who are coveted by many scouts. But it must be said that our makeshift defense has done very well thus far, so kudos to them. Today it just wasn't a good day, but most of the time it's not a good day with Inter in more ways than one. At least we caught those imbeciles offsides about 20 times.

The first half was particulary pathetic in terms of mounting attacks as Inter was slightly winning the battle in midfield, with Javier Zanetti winning most of the battles. What a player. You have to give Inter credit on the goal as that was a slick through ball put in by Cesar to Cruz after our midfield couldn't step in to prevent the pass and Legrottaglie couldn't catch up. In the second half we looked far better going forward, taking the initiative, but that led to Inter having free reign on the counterattacks. But Gianluigi Buffon saved our asses once again.

When Camoranesi stepped on to the pitch, the match was immediately changed. The first time he took the ball at his feet, it was obvious that the man was on a mission a la Poborsky in 2002. Camoranesi was on fire. Camoranesi was crazy. Crazy Camo was running at defenders like a bull at a low-class bull fighter, taking defenders on like I've never seen him. He really looked fearless tonight like the master samurai from The Last Samurai. When he stepped on the pitch, we actually troubled Inter and looked better than them, so praise the Lord for his return as we NEED him if we continue using this idiotic straight 4-4-2.

Buffon was amazing like usual. 7.5

Grygera was decent but the older Cesar was troubling him a bit and his limitations going forward are enhanced against better sides. 6

Legrottaglie was partly at fault for the goal but he did make some good stops during the first half. 5.5

Chiellini was a beast. You have got to love the way he fucked up Ibramovich's match tonight. Giorgio is becoming one of the meanest defenders in Italy and you have to love his passion, grit and spirit back there. Give him time and maturity and he's a captain. 7

Molinaro was average but that's to be expected. He's an average sort of player that just fills in. I still don't have a clue as to why we let Balzaretti go. 5.5

Palladino was good when the ball was at his feet, but better when he switched to the left side. That's where he needs to be deployed from now on, and from the start. He troubled the Inter backline more than anybody else besides Camoranesi tonight in my opinion. 6.5

Nocerino never stops running and is damn fierce out there, but his passing needs to improve. I still cannot believe people think this gem of a young destroyer is anything like Andrea Pirlo. LOL. 6

Zanetti was solid as usual but again the passing, like Antonio's, was suspect. 6

Nedved looked off tonight, blasting the ball over the goal countless times. 5.5

Trezeguet was active but he didn't receive much service. He missed a chance he usually finds a way to put away, however. 5.5

Del Piero couldn't find many openings and didn't have enough of the ball, thanks to our ineptness creating. 5.5

Crazy Camo - what can I say? He picked up our game as soon as he took the pitch, spurring us on to getting the goal back. Welcome back, broseppi. :pint: 7.5

Zebina looked decent and we do miss his ability to go forward. 5.5

Iaquinta put a lot of effort in but wasn't really decisive in the match. 5.5

Ranieri still adores the straight 4-4-2 while I still abhor it. Ranieri still keeps Tiago on the bench while I believe he should be played. There's actually no reason why Tiago shouldn't be playing, so this beats me. But at least Ranieri put in Camoranesi as that is how he saved us a point tonight. 5

All in all, thank goodness we have HEART.

Zebina is good and everything but he tends to give away penalties and make mistakes when he shouldn't have.
Zebina can be absolute crap at times. He can get in over his head, hack and foul his way to a red card quickly, and make a mess of an otherwise close game. But other times he can be steady and solid. So you don't always know what you're going to get with his package.

With Grygera struggling out there, subbing him in was the right decision.

Chiellini plays great in centre of defense. He is tall,so he can clear the cross. He can man mark his opponent. He just need more experience and try to control his emotion.

What to improve?

With Chiellini great performance in center back, it makes a hole in our fullback.
We absolutely must find a way to patch our CB holes to get Chiellini back at fullback, as we are glaringly missing his fuller fullback abilities there.

when we signed iaquinta, i must admit i was baffled to say the least, but he is a real juventino with real spirit, along with chiellini and sometimes, in games like these, that is more important than just skill like zlatan. forza vinny and forza giorgio the monster.
Iaquinta came on as a sub, so he's going to have more energy. But I really love his pace and how he chases down loose balls to the very end. His heart was wholly in this game, and he's turned out to be a pleasant surprise given my similar reaction to his initial signing.
