I got the surprise, Trezeguet changed his fist name, he is now known as: Decide Trezeguet!

:D
:D

He should have left that chance to Zlatan though, who was in better position.

I agree with most of the ratings above, though I wouldn't rate Trez as high as an 8.

zlatan acted like a spoilt little brat after that mix up with trez. He wanted to do everything himself. I didnt like that attitude at all. might change my avatar.

Well what can I tell you... if you want spectalucar team, then you shoulnd't be a Juve fan :D

Very nice first half, Trez was awsome...

Second half, in one word: Boring!!

No ideas, no comunication (Trez and Zlatan blocking each other in an open goal :wallbang:), I don't think we made one direct shoot in the entire second half!!

Zlatan should have been susbstitute, period. VERY bad game, makes you wonder some things, I honestly think that this "Equality" that Capello is talking is bulls·"$, if any other striker had played the game that Zlatan played today he had been substituted... but well, at least I hope that Zlatan can pick up his act, coz if not, then we are in trouble...

If Capello will use the Trez- Zlatan partnership then he MUST start make then practice more, coz honestly, in this game those two didn't comunicated at all.

Another thing, Mutu... he has one step out the team, I have came to realice this, I don't accepted, and I think its a very, VERY stupid move, but I really don't think he will stay...

The good thing: We won...

The bad thing: You wait 2 months to see your team played again, you spend this hole time expecting this moment... and when the moment comes, Juve gives you one of their "At least we won" performances...

Anyway... at least Milan didn't one rigth? :D

PS: Dont start with the "If Cassano was there", coz honestly, If Cassano would have been there, then he and Zlatan would have been probably end up punching each other :groan:

I know, ok it was a bad mix up and in a important game it prob would have cost us dearly, but zlatan should just get on with it instead of sulking, and trying to do things all by himself. thats the part of his game that he has to iron out. Jus keep plugging away as a team. DP should have come on 2nd half, maybe it would have been a little more exciting. Zala got in before him suggests to me DP's on the way???

Abbiati - 5.5
Pretty unconvincing so far. Made a few misstakes and rash decisions, and has 0 arial presence. Still, IMO a lot of that is due to confidence, he should be ok after a match or two

Pessotto - 6
Pretty solid, but nothing special, tried to go forward a bit but didnt really do anything in attack.

Cannavaro - 6.5
Pretty good as always IMO, made a few good tackles and kept everything udner control

Thuram - 7.5
Played like a true captain IMO. Great game for Lilian, did everything right, bar one suspicious backpass. Some fantastic saving tackles, huge arial presence, completely controlled the Chievo attack. MoM for me.

Zambrotta - 7
Also a very good match, went down the left all match. Had the assist for Trez's goal, and was very solid indefence.

Vieira - 6
I wasnt very impressed by him in this match. Did well defensivly but had a lot of lost balls and bad passes, was lucky not to get a yellow card. Tried to go up front and help the attack but didnt really do anything.

Emerson - 6
Similar to Vieira, altho he didnt attack as much. Was pretty invisible in the first half, but improved a bit in the second. Had a few nice touches and passes but nothing grand.

Camoranesi - 6.5
An OK match for Camo. Did his job attacking down the right, had decent ball control and passing, altho he didnt have a lot of his customary runs.

Nedved - 4.5
Piss poor match by Neddy. His first touch lost us at least 2 good chances IMO. Ran around like a headless chicken a lot of the time, didnt do anything up front and had a few bad passes. Completely out of the game.

Zlatan - 5
Pretty bad performance from Zlatan as well. Seems to have forgotten to pass the ball again, maybe the stardom has gone to his head a bit. Had a few nice touches and attempted passes for Trez in the first half, but all in all a very poor match. Was very nervous and annoyed and never seemed to settle into the game.

Trezeguet - 7
Showed some of his customary brilliant volleys. Was fantastic in the first half, when the service was still good. One of the best volleyers of the ball IMO. Great header to score the goal and great agility to get into some of those chances. Decent passing as well.
I doubt we have seen the same game. I agree with your defense rates but in midfield I think you misjudged some players. Vieira IMO was pure class. So comfortable, so many nice dribbles and defensivly a rock. Had a few moments off but all in all a good game.
Nedved a 4.5???? Damn, he fought like a warrior and linked up very nice with Zambrotta, and also found his dangerous ways to the middle. He is still not the old one, but this was a very good first step. So I would give him a 6.0 or 6.5

Better?? thats a very big word... I wouldn't use it to describe our first half... I would use the word "nice", well at least if you compared with the second half :D
