I think we had some decent performances today and although we started to look a little bit ragged in the second half, we did play some good football.
Molinaro - IMO was excellant, credit where credit is due, the guy put in some serious running, make up 50-60 yrds to overlap Nedved or Ale. His crossing and passing was better but still needs to be worked on but overall a great performance. Hopefully he can build on this and do it more often. Still not the answer for LB long term but showed he can do a job. (7)
Zebina - such a strange player!! when intercepting passes or attacking balls played in front of him he looks pretty good. But, any pass played behind him and he goes missing leaving big gaps for the opposition to play into, he was caught out positionally a lot and often Nocerino had to cover for him. He needs to work on his positioning, concentration and temper (again we saw him flair up when he miss controlled a pass, if i was a manager i would fine anyone for dissent, such a stupid booking) (5.5)
Nocerino - This guy was superb!he was all over the place, covering up for Zebina's mistakes and had a great shot on goal that he nearly scored with. he is not the most creative but he sure can play superbly as a DM! IMO man of the match! (8)
Nedved - if only you could have 2 man of the matches! he was back to the Neddy of old, agressive, energetic and creative. Great goal when we needed it! he would be man of the match but driffted out of the game for a spell in the second half. (7)
Palladino - not his best game for Juve, but you have to take into account that he was made to play RM when he is really a support striker or a left winger! a gamble by Ranieri that didnt work. (4.5)
Del Piero - great game by alex, full of flair and creativity. Everything good in the second half came from him. He should have started because Atalanta's defence was playing so deep that it didnt suit playing behind them (i.e. for Iaquinta). So we needed someone to drop off and that was perfect for Ale. its great that we have 2 options like that upfront to play different tactics. (6.5)

Molinaro isnt getting any better, its just us we are getting used with lower standards,
if a player sux every single day and plays decently a single time, (mostly because of the lack of pressure). It doesnt mean he is a good player, not even promising!
Molinaro was very very very lucky to get a starter position, he DIDNT earned that position. Normally Chiellini wouldnt left him more chances than Criscito has.
And when Molinaro would finally get his quarter of glory, or a starter position between the subs, like the game with Empoli,
he would normally suck, just like the rest, because he is def not any better than any of them. Even Almiron is 10x times better than him, not to mention Tiago.
But the current situation is the only thing that favors him, he was just very lucky not have any other reserves for this position, he is currently the only LB we have, well yes, he is better than nothing (most of the times)
BUT that doesnt mean he is Juve material and by no means that his selection in the first XI would be justified in the natural course of things.
I m 100000000000000% sure that if Balza had the same chances, to play so many games, as Molinaro and adapt him self with the team, feel secured and not threatened, by anyone for his position in the team,
Balza would be 100x the player Molinaro was today, almost every week for the last month! And Juve would gain more, just a bit better cross here and the lack of creativity wouldnt be such an issue, just a bit better control of the ball there and we would have better possession, just a bit better taclin or positioning there and the opposition would have a chance less to threaten Buffon and the CBs
Molinaro and the players of his level, ARE harming our team, directly or indirectly,
we are not a playing or training ground, we are tittle contenders (arent we?)
The rest of the players feel the weak bond in our team, both the players of our team and the opposition, if you ever played football in real life, you know what i m talking about. Molinaro is not in par with the rest of the team, he is 10 classes lower. He is the only untalented player between gifted players. (ok you can count Legro and Zebi out, too)
Get a grip of your selves, its a shame putting Zambro and Molinaro or even the legendary Di Livio in the same sentence, Di Livio would own this kid any day of the week, even at his age and with a leg crippled, stop living a football manager dream and take a look at reality!

Does Molinaro has any tackle accuracy, skills with the ball, swift short pass, does he reads the game, is he good at physical challenges, is he any good at air game?
His positioning, the cover of the open spaces?

I m not a pro football player, but my position in the field is LB, i know this position, i have a few ideas what a decent LB can do and i m confident that i would do better than Molinaro, the worst Juve LB of the decade...
All that Molinaro does is avoiding challenges, he is a dead weight for our team the rest of the players must carry, these kind of players drive our team down to the bottom.
A player, a man must stand on his ground, thats what i respect on Nocerino, despite that kid is skill less and savage wild board, he has the guts for job!
He cant pass, but he can bite, he cant cross but he can bark, he cant score but he can rape! He has stamina and power that the rest of the players of his age havent, he has a base to build some skills upon.
Molinato has no skills, no talent, no power, no cross, no pace, no pass, no taclin, no guts, he has NOTHING, he has no future! Passion is temporary, skills are permanent!

Not exactly fans. Just Juventini who are pleased to see the guy giving his all whenever he plays for Juve. Chances are slim that he'll become our regular LB for the next 5-10 years but for now we can do nothing but expect him to play like he did today, especially now when there is no better option at LB. And we can do nothing else but to support him and be pleased whenever he plays good, like he did today

When he was Molinaro's age, Di Livio was playing for Padova.......in serie B.
And if you're saying that Di Livio was a gifted player then you probably never saw him. Di Livio was a fighter, no wonder he was called soldatino. And his huge heart and speed made him the player he was. That's why i compared Molinaro to Di Livio. They have this handicap and they must double or triple their efforts in trainings and during the match.

Agreed. His precision of crosses aside, his biggest weakness was lack of confidence. I don't know who mentioned it but someone here said that Molinaro looked nervous in his first few matches. I totally agree, the guy looked shaky but as more more and games went his confidence started rising. He is (slowly) improving and he may at the end of 2-3 more months be good enough to be at least a useful rotational player for us next season.

In the second half, we seemed to slow down a bit, and Atalanta pressed forward much more than they did in the first half. We had a few chances through DP, but couldnt capitalize. We were definitely heading for a draw, but Neddy saved our asses !!!

Not too bad defensively, but when he charges forward with the ball, and then has it taken away, and leaves his whole side open because of it, that leads to problems. A completely unnecessary yellow card for kicking the ball away in anger, when will he learn ?
Legro- 6- I reluctantly give him a 6 rating- he was burned twice by the same player using the same move...he was decent otherwise
Chiellini- 6.5- He was pretty much mistake free, and kept his temper in check
Molinaro- 6- Many here seem to think he was so good...but compared to his past performances, anything is better !! He was ok on the defensive side, concentrated more on his passes and crosses, but still isnt up to par. Arrivederci in January
