When I used to watch Juve years ago and we'd be 1-0 up; I'd feel pretty confident that the game is ours and the only change in the scoreline is probably a second goal for us. Tonight, after Marchisio's screamer; I swear I was almost waiting for Udinese to equalize. It's like I knew it was just a matter of time before we concede. I know all of you guys feel the same thing and I try to be patient and realize that we are in this long term rebuilding process.

But sometimes I just wonder if this board really does have a plan. Because if they do, and by this time next season; we'll be competing for top spot, I'll gladly eat my words and gracefully accept another disastrous season. From the looks of it, however, it seems that the reality is that we went from a one dimensional team last season to a no-dimensional team this season. There was a period where we did well, but that was only because players like Krasic and Quaggy were just brilliant.

Now we have no one to mask the many flaws of this team. Krasic has been a ghost lately. Every time he gets the ball, it's like he's just waiting to dive with the slightest contact. I miss the Krasic that used to pass by 3 or 4 players like they were nothing.

The whole team really has just fallen apart and it seems to me that the true face of this team is finally beginning to show. This is the 'real' Juve of 2011. Lethargic, uninspired, sloppy, and lost. What hurts me the most is seeing Del piero and Buffon witnessing the collapse of everything they worked for right before their eyes, and they're absolutely helpless.

I don't like to speak about Marotta or Del Neri, it's not like I was expecting much from them anyway. Even Del Neri isn't expecting too much of himself it seems. We've handed this club over to people who don't give a flying fuck and look where it's getting us.

Didn't read the LIVE thread or other posts in here but did you hear the fans chant "We'll win the treble, we'll win the treble..."

later..."We never win, we never win..."

:sigh:

2) Movement. The little movement which our team does is atrocious. I have no idea why nobody makes space for themselves when not in possession, Udinese do it very well which is why they can set off Isla running down the right wing often during a match and they can create so many chances. Juventus players strictly stay in formation which is why the team can never effectively retain possession for long period unless aimlessly playing it square along the back four. This problem has been present since the Ferrara days as well, and back then I was wondering why the hell nobody was bothering to do anything about it.
:agree: For sure. We're always forced to pass it back to the defenders or else we lose the ball.

Welcome to the forums!

Yeah, a place to commisurate. We need to clean house, and take years more to do it. But it will be fun until we get there. :)

I did not watch the game tonight...I was actually following it here because my internet connection sucked but I knew we will concede right away after Marchisio's goal...I do not see us getting better and EL will be a success with this bunch of players and incompetent management...BTW does anybody have a link to the GHOST's screamer?

Cronios popped up just before Udinese scored their first goal, spread his jinx properly and left after the loss.

I'm glad we sat around with our thumbs up our asses as Dzeko and Pazzini got snatched up. We have no center forward and can't spread to ball effectively out wide. I think Krasic got isolated twice the entire game, yet Udinese probably had 1 v 1's in wide areas a dozen times. What the fuck does Del Neri work on in training? It's nice we sold players who didn't fit into this great 4-4-2. Is Del Neri such a mastermind that we sacrifice talent for a formation.

It will definitely be fun but painful as well :-( but it really hurts to see clubs like AC Milan back on their path of glory...we lack a lot of quality

    welcome to Tuz, Dadi-SK.

I joined at our worst period, so this is pretty tame compared to that ;)
Thank you...there were far more better moments at that period than today...I was so proud of Juventus during that period especially when some of the players decided to remain with us...There is nothing to be proud of today except our history and of course the passion of being a Juventus fan
