We can't have 2 world class plawers in every single position, thats true
But our team is full of average and below average players
Moli, Grygera, Poulsen, Legro, Zebina, Hasan Saleh, grosso, De C, Caceras etc
So i really think its almost impossible to ask the rest to do magic in the presence of those clueless average players

Ferrara is not the answer and he is just another average name
some of you talking about Hamsik who is a good player no doubts
but i don't think we have a prob in our offen. line
Its the defence line for GS

We won when we over-rated the opponents like we did with samp
and we lost when we under-rated them like we did with napoli

Juve is way far from being a real contendor this season
and it will be hard , very hard to secure a CL spot

This should be our target this year and not anything else
Inter is way better than us and the rest and they are winning the Scud. again no doubts

His teammates presented him with 1 oppurtunity today. He took it. Efficiency 100%. Can't really ask for more than that.

And like I said, when they scored the 3rd goal, he was one of the first players back, trying to help out. Some of our other players, you know, the ones who are supposed to run back, were nowhere to be seen.

So yeah, I think Trez today did more than his share of the work, hence the high mark.
And what did Trezeguet do for his teammates? Nothing! It goes both ways and Trez simply doesn't make the team better.

Can someone tell me why Amauri got a red card? I stopped watching and missed it.
kicked De Sanctis in the face in a goal mouth scramble...fuckin' Napoli players rushed at him as if he had killed him, referee lost his cool and out came the red card

He kicked De Sanctis on the head. Deliberately, because it was after the gk got the ball, if it was a struggle or late reaction I would get it. But not like he did.

He was going for the ball when the keep caught it, due to which he accidentally kicked the keeper in the face. Napoli scum made a big deal of it and provoked Amauri, due to which he was sent off. The kick to the face was very soft, and is not worthy of a red card, let alone a yellow.

Thanks guys :)

Sounds like a retarded decision by the referee.

Very soft or not doesn't matter. When the keeper has the ball you back off, simple as that.
Now, I don't know if he deliberately did it or not, but deserved red card imo.

I think he really wanted to rest Amauri if he was sick, which makes sense with CL around the corner. Plus we were winning and the alarm bells weren't ringing. You can't blame Ciro for that sub costing us. Blame Grygera on the first 2 goals that came from our side and Tiago's clearance but even before that the ball still came from Grygeras side.

Blame the defense today, not Ciro>
I would still blame Ciro. If the defense were not organised well, not only the defense are blamed but also is the coach.

And for the subs, I believe that these were Ciro's faults. The first sub was very inexperienced. I agree that Ciro does not have any other choice, but at least he could tell Tiago to pay more attention on covering the right side, or even better let Poulsen to do that role. I remeber Poulsen did that very well for our left flank in the game against Fio. Having Tiago in the 4-4-1-1, we now have the same right flank as we did with the 4-3-1-2, i.e. no real winger to protect the right side and consequently our right wing is very vulnerable. Ciro failed to see that but Mazzari saw that and he brought Datolo in to tear our right flank apart.

I would say that the second sub was also a risky one. Poulsen was playing well and did won a lot of balls back. Subbed him out and we then had only Melo to do all the defensive tasks. Losing the third goal was inevitable. Ciro perhaps could have done better by subbing Tiago out instead(I know that would hurt Tiago but who care).

Now the last sub was completely Ciro's fault. Why replacing the most creative player in your team with an average one who was not able to hit the ball right? Especially when your team had to chase back? And Ciro did that several times already, as if De Ceglie is our saviour!
