This club is essentially retarded when it comes to young talent. It's run by morons, supported by some morons, yet it keeps on ticking. How you miss the opportunity to buy a guy like Hamsik is fucking unbelievable, especially because people here were screaming to buy him.

Whatever. This club will never change for the better. Just loan out everybody, who the hell cares anymore.
I was thinking before the game, while watching the primavera highlights when Rossi scored 2 great goals. I was trying to guess between graduating the primavera and for however long the club decides to loan him (and you know they will) when we would actually get to see him in the senior team. We need someone FROM OUR YOUTH ACADEMY to replace or be ready when Camo goes down. We have a gem....again....waiting to shine, but sadly will do so at another club for the next couple years.

Like you said, I can't wait to see our players succeed at another club, want to leave because we don't have faith, end up in another teams primavera, out play our own players when on another team, OR watch another clubs risky investments turn out to be a big slap in our face with our millionaire "talents" having a :dazed: look on their face.

actually am not shocked by the result as much as am shocked with response of some of the people here.
this lost is by no mean the end of the world and i posted before the game that i expect that we lose 2-0 for an obvious reason we don't have the DMF that complete Melo in the absence of Sissoko.
moreover, Camo injury left us with no solution other than Tiago who i tried to figure out what is his position actually but i really couldn't tell until the 3rd goal where i found out that he was a napoli forward !!!
other than that i think canna had one of the most awful performance since he re-joined us.

and am not here to praise Hamsik, the guy is good but from all the game he played this season this was his best 20 min, and i mean 20 min.
100% spot on.

We should've killed the game off at 2-0. Zanetti would've been good at a time like that...:snoop:

why are people hating on Poulsen? he was much better than Melo today, did not put a foot wrong...and as for the default hate on Grygera, watch the fuckin' game before you talk...Melo, Diego, Traitor and to a lesser extent Chiellini were poor today
Melo should calm down and play football instead of acting like a boy of 10 years playing in a street of rio da janiero. At times, I feel that he is lazy and not up to the rythm. SISSOKO MOM

The team looked a little lethargic in the first half, but the match was still cautious enough that we weren't exposed at the back as we were later in the second half.

Grygera had a few good offensive plays for a change in the first half, one leading to a sweet Trez header for the first goal. But Grygera would later play a role in our demise in the second half.

Giovinco's goal was pretty hilarious -- as if Contini must have though Giovinco was really 5cm tall. Giovinco's cool penalty kick (that's what it became) put us in the driver's seat... and I literally started to worry after that.

Sure enough... the breakthrough was some Napoli will and, even with two defenders closing down on sub Datolo on the wing, Datolo launched a great cross with nobody sufficiently stopping them. Leaving a loosely marked Hamsik for the first easy goal.

The second was just slop in front of Buffon on a corner conceded as the result of some bad offensive passing upfield.

The third was a smart Lavezzi press on the counter that none of our central defenders could properly deal with.

Forza Juve, but days like this are incredibly harsh. I don't feel we're learning much yet, and this season yet can be a struggle to achieve a Champions League spot by season's end. I think even at this early stage, we can safely rule out any legitimate chances for the Scudetto.

Buffon - 6 - Left prone and open by the defense, so I can't fault him. Made decent saves where he had to and humanly could.

Grygera - 5 - A great offensive first half marred by a poor defensive second half. Datolo owned him, and it changed the match entirely.

Chiellini - 5 - While some decent defensive play at times, was in nowheresland at others when our central defense needed a presence.

Cannavaro - 5 - Ditto.

Grosso - 4.5 - Did mark Hamsik at all. Should he have? Someone should have.

Melo - 5 - A few bonehead passes as usual.

Poulsen - 5 - Dangerous offensively for our own side (that is, he can blow up an attack of ours at any moment). Defensively he should have done more to slow down the bleeding in central defense and didn't/couldn't.

Camoranesi - 5.5 - Gets off the hook for leaving before things got either good or ugly.

Diego - 6 - Generally, one of our better players on the day. Even if his set pieces were pretty poor.

Giovinco - 6 - Did well with his goal and with winning possession on the touch line by taking many fouls. Some shady passing at times in the box.

Trezeguet - 6 - Got the goal we needed. Didn't do well enough on a few other touches.

Subs:

Tiago - 3.5 - You honestly have to learn how to clear better than that.

De Ceglie - 5 - I don't understand why Ferrara likes you so much.

Amauri - 5 - A lame red card, IMO.

Coach:

Ferrara - 5 - I can't flame him as much as some of you this time. The players were the primary problem on the day. The subs weren't very good, but the choice of starters wasn't horrible. Today's fault lies mainly with the players.

I thought we played pretty decent for a big part of the game. Sure, it was not as impressive as against Samp, but you have to realize that Napoli approached this game very differently than them. Our decent play, coupled with some luck at the right moments, lead us to going 2-0 up.

Too bad we threw it all away like a bunch of amateurs.

I'm not going to blame our defence for this loss, as we were slaughtered in midfield.

Buffon 6 - Not to blame. Tried what he could
Grygera 6 - Great at times. Poor at other times.
Cannavaro 6 - Ok, but we've seen better
Chiellini 6 - Ok, but we've seen better
Grosso 5 - Some good moments, but he's not exactly the most aware player I have ever seen. He should learn how to mark, but I guess it's too late for that.
Poulsen 6 - Very good, almost great 1st hour. After that I don't know what happened.
Melo 4,5 - I might be harsh, but there were (a lot) of moments today when he was nothing more than a liability. One minute you see him fighting for the ball, the next he's just standing around, doing nothing.
Camoranesi 6,5 - Looked very lively, but today he was the chosen one to go off injured.
Diego 5,5 - Not too happy with his performance. Way too many bad passes and I still think he needs to act & react a lot quicker. Oh, and was it him who was standing in the middle of the park doing nothing, when the Napoli player stormed forward right besides him with the ball, which lead to the 3rd goal.
Giovinco 6 - Mixed the good with the bad.
Trezeguet 7 - Perfect goal & he was very involved. When Napoli scored the 3rd goal half our team was standing up front, or at the most just walking back. Trez was back as one of the first & at least tried to do something. But yeah, he's a lazy player that doesn't care :sergio:

Tiago 5 - Did ok in when he first came but drowned pretty quickly. I don't think he's match fit.

Poulsen was bad today. He did put a foot wrong. He wasn't perfect. And I think Grygera was good today. Don't remember any mistakes from him.

Oh wait, the cross from the first goal came from the right side. :sergio:

Grygera had a decent game, Poulsen too.

Melo is still too casual in possession! When he spreads the ball around it's great, but then he makes me wince like Tiago did a couple of seasons ago with his mis-placed passes.

It was funny though when he literally passed it to a Napoli player and then tackled him back - someone should make a gif out of that.

I'm not even annoyed, veeeeeeeeeery deserves loss. Seeing Camo subbed out, was predictable we would suffer. Even if I didnt predict this much, because this midfield suffers alot without the guy on my avatar, and when Camo goes out and cant link the midfield, or hold onto the ball, then we can be exposed mobility wise in midfield because both Melo and Poulsen are slowish anchormen, they dont cover enough ground. Talk about VAST space Napoli was offered in second half (First half Grosso was buuuuuuuutt raped, 2nd they focused heavily on Grygera since they didnt need to just defend without Camo there). But besides tactically, it was so typical seeing them trying to go to 2nd gear when we were 2-0.

I was fearing a draw then, because it was too soon in the 2nd half to ease off, but wit Hamsik around, anything is possible, including 3 goals. Aided by amateurish defending (every single one of them, they were so disoriented, like they were on LSD), especially at those corners :sergio: Its ridicolous how one guy, Denis could cause so much trouble just by being physically there. Poor Gigi all 3 goals were scored like 2 feet infront of the goal line, real nice defending.

Datolo was another guy called out by people here.

Honestly, I think some folks here can do a better job than the faggots in management, I'm not joking. We ARE a bunch of retards when it comes to scouting talent.

Nothing wrong with the formation, :gsol: he didn't read the game :gsol:
 ok what is that supposed to mean exactly? was he supposed to have a vision that his CBs were gonna fuck up

so, they had a successful cross from his side, that means he made a mistake? did you not see the exact sequence of events?
