It sucked. You got lucky.

I'd rather win two and lose one than win one and draw two. It would be nice to go for an undefeated season though :D

Matri and Vucinic should complement each other really well if they're played regularly together. Matri is a prolific goal scorer and Vucinic knows how to hold it up, cross it in or beat his man. Play them both and we won't have issues scoring its a LB and wingers which are essential in the next markets. Marotta failed in those areas miserably buying/loaning three average left wingers and not bringing in one left back. It doesn't matter that he got Licht, Pirlo, Vidal and Vucinic because when a team isn't balanced you see more mistakes like we did last night.

We need to play 4-3-3 imo. I've had enough of having Pepe as a starter with someone random on the left every game. Krasic sucks too. We just don't have the proper personnel for a 4-4-2 but we've great players for a 4-3-3.

Playing a three man midfield has brought us nothing but stalemates so far. Compare this match (or others where we used the 4-2-4) with the games we played with the 4-3-3/4-5-1 and the difference in scoring opportunities indicates which formation we should use if we want to win matches. No one would be calling for the 4-3-3 had Chiellini, Storari and Bonnucci not made costly errors.

If the 4-3-3 is played it has to be with a Vucinic - Matri - Del Piero forward group but I'm still skeptical. Just because you play a group of good individual players doesn't mean it will work out. The three man midfield made us over crowded and couldn't seem to find any space going forward. With Vucinic and Del Piero besides Matri though anything can happen.

Definitely not the worst performance this season, but we can't keep throwing away points like that. We are very fortunate that this is a weak Serie A, and as of yet, no team has been particularly consistent.

We clearly lack a killer instinct and an x-factor. We don't really have that one player that truly stands out and can change the course of the game for us, someone a la Zidane, Nedved, or DP in his prime.

That's what I'm thinking. Vuci on the left with Matri on center and DP/Quagliarella on the right. At least we won't concede and there's enough talent up top to pull something out of nothing. We can't keep relying on mediocre players.

Marchisio is really useless in 4-4-2 next to Pirlo. Vidal would be too, probably. They are both good in 4-3-3 and complement eachother well. But Pirlo plays better in 4-4-2 when he has more space in the center and we're more dangerous in attack. Vidal and Marchisio help us win the midfield and protect the bad defense which is too vulnerable with Pirlo and another CM, but two strikers system makes us more dangerous in attack and gets the best out of Pirlo.

Can they let us play 4-5-2 with 12 players? :D

Anyone knows what Juve fans shouted everytime before Frey kicked the ball?
Got an answer to my own question already. You all probably know our rivalry with Fiorentina. Juve ultras all the match shouted "Fiore di Merda", "Vergogna" and other insulting chants.

Stick to 4-4-2 or 4-2-4. We took the lead twice, the formation is good, we were just poor in defending. You can't take the lead twice and still end up drawing this game.

Conte made mistakes with his subs and he takes lot of time to make them. He should have more courage and always attack his opponent even if we're leading and not sit back with your subs.

It should have been Pazienza for Marchisio/Pirlo, Del Piero for Vucinic and Quag for Esti, IMO.

Genoa controlled the ball too much and it was 2-1, it's reasonable to switch to formation that ensures comfortable ball possesion.

 We're lucky all teams are struggling and throwing away the points.

What we really seem to lack is real danger from the wings aswell.
