Nice result yesterday! And thank you for the stream yesterday, @Marty! For some reason your stream tends to buffer in "certain" moments. :D

This is a good example :D

Atleast 3 of them in the list must surely go.I say Matri,Padoin and Giacch.
Why the fuck would you let go of Giaccherini? :D

Versatile players, works hard and moves well and can cross the ball unlike others in our team. Perfect player for depth imo.

Some expect that even our bench players must be superstars.
Even in our big moments in the 1990's, we didn't have a bench made of superstars, but still, a great team needs to have a strong bench. We can't compare with City or Real, with the money they spend or with the superstars on their bench, but Bayern could be a good example how to spend moderately, have a really strong XI and still have a very good bench. I surely didn't expect us to have Bayern's starting XI and bench in 2011, '12 or today. Calciopoli prevented us from achieving that. But it's a good model how to behave on the market from now on, so in 2-3 years we could be where the German champions are at the moment.

Imo, we had two quality mercatos in the last 2 summers. Especially last summer we did well because we added quality depth to the team. Unfortunately, Isla flopped, Asa had to go to Africa and DC was injured, so the forced appearance of Padoin and Peluso makes it look like we had a bad mercato. We strengthened every area with the introduction of Isla, Asamoah, Pogba, Caceres, Lucio and Giovinco and it can be seen in the way we cruised to the scudetto, by playing in CL at the same time. Yup, the only position where we should have done better was the attack (we did try to get Llorente, let me remind you), but I feel that it wouldn't have changed anything this season.
We are where we are due to the amazing job we've done, and when I say "amazing" I also include our work on the market. I don't know our financial situation. If it's solid, then this summer we should spend money for another starter or two, just like Bayern are doing every year. Then, in 2-3 years, we will also have a top XI, with our own Robben, Gomez and Shaqiri on the bench.

The thing about Bayern, and correct me if I'm wrong, but they are the biggest club in Germany... And German players don't seem to go to play outside of Germany all that often.

We have to compete with Inter and Milan. It's easier for them to collect the best players in Germany and not have to spend as much on players because they don't have as much competition domestically when it comes to buying players. (I know Germany has a very competitive league, and I don't know much about it, so some of this is off the cuff).

I wouldn't say that it's easier. When they buy from German talent, they have to spend a lot. Both Nuer and Gomez were expensive transfers. If anything, they end up overpaying for in country talent. They just budget their big purchases and limit them per mercato.

We are also doing a great job domestically and we always have most of the best Italians serie A can offer. Just like us, when we can't compete with Real, Barca or City, Bayern also can't compete (or refuse to compete) for the best Germans if the richer teams get involved. That's how you can find Ozil or Khedira in Real, or a Bundesliga star like Dzeko in City. Hell, we even stole Vidal from them, or Diego before that. It's just that after Secco and co. left us in chaos, we don't want to take big risks or we don't have the sources to splash 25-40m eur for a Ribery, Robben or Martinez, even when we do need such quality, especially in attack. Hopefully this summer we'll have the money and a real opportunity will present itself for Juve to strengthen the team with top quality.

Alen, I definitely agree that we're doing an amazing job. But we can't compare ourselves to Bayern's position just yet. First of all, they are one of very few top clubs in Europe who are actually making money. We are still in the red (we have debt). Barcelona and Real Madrid etc also have more debt than income, just to put things in perspective. Bayern, on the other hand, are in the plus, which is a fantastic position to be in.

As a result of this, they have a much bigger wagecap. We can probably compete with them when it comes to transfer fees, but there's no way we can compete with the wages. Their wage cap is something like 10 million euros per season (for certain players).

Then there's the italian tax laws, which is also a hinderance to us paying those kind of wages.

Apart from that, though, I agree with everything you said. We're doing a remarkable job, and our situation is improving season by season
