Comparing the Genoa and Fiorentina games, there appears to be better balance when we have Vidal-Pirlo-Marchisio. Genoa often found space in midfield and started their moves off there with Merkel and Veloso. Today Fiorentina had less room to operate with Vidal hassling them as well. It also looks better going forward as well, the wide men often had someone to pass to if the cross wasn't on.

I missed the match and watched from the 75th minute mark and saw our team pinned back and luckily getting away with the three points but judging from the comments it looks like they were well deserved.
