Galliani pulled off some great moves before. Ibra, robinho and cassano are examples.
Ibra-Robinho was mostly credit to Raiola. Fatantonio doesn't fit in their static team. Ronnie was doing twice as much anyway.
Aquilani=MrX and the coach doesn't even rate him - enough said.

It's not a good thing when the owners buy a team with no real input from the coach... unless you're spending sheik-level money. Thankfully for us, Conte had the personality/rep to influence our mercato.

Honestly some of those Milanisti have a point. Allegri's subs were  not that I don't give us full credit.
Allegri couldn't do much about stopping this freight train.

For me this is a win for Conte.

Before the match I said that our wingers struggle to make an impact in the 4-2-3-1 but our midfield is at its best. We are very hard to beat using this formation but it needs all 3 Pirlo,March and Vidal to be fit and motivated. The wingers are really there only to give the opposition something to worry about (pace) and to track back rather than to provide the goals. The middle guys and the striker are the real goal getters. Krasic and Pepe failed to have an impact as I expected and the middle guys brought the win.

Despite our control, we only tested them from long shots and we did need luck to win. I'd use this formation against big teams who usually rely on possession but with smaller ones the 4-2-4 is best choice (because controlling the game should be relatively easier).

I give this game to Conte because we won due to a team effort rather than individual brilliance. March was good but nothing spectacular but the unit as a whole was great.
Forza Juve.. Im impressed.
 Great post.

Milan's mercato this summer was piss poor though.
Cash-strapped like much of the rest of Europe.

I can't believe we have an international break.....granted some rest would be good blah blah but just when I want more more more from Juve
Bah. I'd rather go in on a high than pissed off for another two weeks for the points we lost. Enjoy it.

LOL fucking idiots. But at least they talk about Serie A on their shows and have a couple of people who know a little bit about it.
 I watch the world game every week mostly for the 5-10 minute section on Serie A. The A-League stuff bores the crap out of me but the rest is usually pretty enjoyable.
