That's like trusting a hungry lion with your new born baby. The guy is ridiculously bad in defence and attack, plus he has zero speed to make up for it. Though what pisses me off about him the most is his indecisiveness with the ball at his feet whereby he holds the ball for ages feinting to pass this or that way until he just boots it upfield. The guy is useless in all aspects of the game.
Pepe will almost definitely start. I still think Elia is a better option even though not a single soul will agree with me due to Pepe's performance in the last match. Elia wasn't bad at all though. I would like to say though, I was pleasantly surprised with Pepe's decision making last game. I am quite sure he'll return to his brainless self however.
Lately so is Chiellini. We have no options at LB. The only reason I'd go DC over Gross-O is because DC at least has some speed. Gross-O has nothing but an undeserved WC medallion.

De Celgie is a far worse defender than Grosso. Grosso might be poor but I don't think all the blame should be put on him for that goal which was also partly Chiellini's fault. De Ceglie loses his touch and makes poor decisions with the ball in his possession in the worst areas of the pitch. At least Grosso has the brains to just boot it out in those cases. DC has caused two goals so far and almost caused even more if it weren't for a bit of luck.
Yeah agree with Linebreak. We are just setting ourselves up for an even bigger fail with Grosso at the back. Sure, De Ceglie has had two very ordinary games, but this guy was injured for 80% of last season. He needs game time to build his confidence back up and to get some much needed match fitness. DC is still just 25, he can offer us a lot more and it will benefit us more in the long run to let this guy have an extended run of games until we buy a better LB.
Now I'm not saying that DC should be our permanent solution for our LB position, but we surely have to let him have an extended run of games until we purchase a new LB, hopefully in January. I'd love if we signed someone like Cissokho or Kolarov.
Grosso has absolutely no more room for improvement, at 33 years of age his career is over and he will be gone at the end of the season. The guy can barely run anymore, cant cross for shit, gets caught out of position and has an obsession with hitting stupid, aimless long balls all the time. He also has an infuriating habit of letting the player he is marking on the wing cross and get the ball into dangerous areas almost every time. He provides fuck all defensive coverage.
We really shouldnt have loaned out Ziegler. As average/mediocre as people say he is, I still feel that was a big mistake by us.

Bologna should have scored immediately after that mistake. Team are unlucky not to have scored even more from De Ceglie's mistakes. I don't understand what people are waiting for. Everyone should know by now that De Celgie is no good especially as a defender. Looks like people have still got their hopes high after his first half against Inter last season.
It was against Milan, not Inter, and to be fair he was fairly solid those opening 6 or so games. Again, I am not over rating DC or even saying he is good, but he is surely a better option than that zombie known as Fabio Grosso, at this point in time. I fail to see how Grosso has proven himself to be a better defender than DC since he's been at Juve? Did you watch any of Juve last season (and in 09/10) with Grosso as LB? He has cost us more goals than De Ceglie ever has.

Anyone knows who will miss the match for Milan? Against Cesena they were without Zlatan, Robinho, Pato, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Antonini, Bonera, Gattuso, Ambrosini, Flamini, Kingsley Boateng and Mexes.
Most of them are bench players anyway so I wonder if the three attackers and KP Boateng will be back.
