If 3-5-2, then i want to see:

Buffon
Ogbonna - Bonucci - Chiellini
Caceres - Pogba - Pirlo - Marchisio - Peluso
Llorente - Tevez

Think Vidal could use a rest, he looked injured in the second half, and i would like Barzagli to get a little rest aswell. Peluso on the back, since we will dominate the game and he should be able to get some good crosses to Llorente, while Caceres earned his spot. Put on Giovinco, Isla and Asamoah later on.

It could easily be Conte does not want to give Real Madrid any more material to study Juve than the game in Madrid. So we might use 3 - 5 - 2 again or something different at all.
It doesn't make sense. How are we supposed to get used to a new formation? By not playing it?

If Conte switches back to 352 I might fake fan the next match. How can a man be so stubborn :sergio:

No, it doesn't really make sense. We should easily play our new formation in Serie A and then adapt for Real if Conte believes this was necessary.

If Conte doesn't want to use 4-3-3 because Real will scout us out then that means Conte has been practicing the 4-3-3 and instructing the players on certain movements and tactics that he doesn't want to be scouted out.

Which means he is taking the formation change seriously.

Argument number 1 makes surface.

I will count them, I will make sure to count each and every one of them.

Fuck no chiellini, let's see how we perform without him for once.. He's been a total liability at the back

I don't understand people's reactions. It was widely reported that we changed the formation specifically for the Real game. How does that make anyone think we won't revert back to our main formation in the next league game?

I had a feeling it would come to this. I guess we need a string of bad games for him to entirely realize the limitations of 3-5-2. If the defense is leaking and we've seen it now for a while, at least put an extra man in the middle, press more and shift the play. FFS Napoli and Roma have arguably worse defenders than us, but inspite of that they have managed to close the gaps. I refuse to believe that one Albiol or Benatia are better defenders than Chiellini of Barza for instance.

Because the majority thought we put a fabulous display against Real thinking that the formation did wonders and changed the team's shape and approach. Hypocritically enough almost all of those people were saying that there are no problems with the team at all.

Yeah that's true. How Albiol - Britos is doing so well is beyond me. It just proves you don't need WC defenders if your midfield gets the job done. Napoli's 4231 shifts the play very well they don't let you to get pushed back too much because Benitez knows his defense isn't that good. We should look at it the same way imo. Even though we have the better CBs we leave them exposed and without support too much. It's all about at where you decide to defend. While Napoli begins defending on opponents half we drop back deep and give too much space and freedom.

And risk losing or drawing matches against inferior opponents, and getting further and further away from the title. Yeah, makes sense.

Why? Because we were able to take the game to one of the best teams in the world in their own stadium. The game could have easily gone our way before the Chiellini red card. Why is it so challenging for people to comprehend a formation change at least give it a chance?
