Baggio was spotted by AC Torino scouts as a child and taken into the Torino youth system. He made his debut as a 19 year old in the match Torino vs Lazio. I just find it extremely fascinating that our club were willing to let go of DP for DB.

But from today's perspective, it's like choosing between Felipe Melo or a 19 year old talented kid from the primavera. If we know that the kid will be big in the future of course we will keep him, but many will prefer to keep Melo ahead of the talented kid who may or may not make it in the future.
