the 4231 was pretty damn good when we used i feel. we slapped sampdoria silly with that setup. but no giovinco and camoranesi doesn´t look like that formation is happening any time soon

Candreva should be able to play in a position next to Diego aswell. A bit further to the middle of the park than he played in that 4-4-2. There are a few options, if he wanted to play that formation anyway.
