Watched it and reminds of watching us under Max and not getting that insurance goal. Difference is Motta tries for it while Max sits on his hands. Thankful we Motta now. Of course Dusan doesn't miss one of the easiest chances he ever get, a moot point. And Luiz looked like he was going to be to that spot before the Cag player anyway. Just a bad decision.

And #7 thought OMG no PK attempt but after replay LOL no way. But why the yellow? Just let play continue. Not often called and especially with one yellow already. Wouldn't even dare give a second yellow to say a Leao or Barella etc. etc. in that instance.

Worried without Bremer going forward but still excited with what Motta has done with the team so far. And one of only 7 clubs 2-0 so far in the most important aspect for me. Yes doing well in serie is good but in CL it is great!

3 months in a pattern is being established. it's not just a one off game anymore. juventus has more draws than wins.
But flying high in CL. Overall, it's been a pretty good start.

Beating Leipzig away from home is no joke. This is the same team that ended Leverkusen's unbeaten streak and are top of the table in Bundesliga.

I don't remember the first two situations. They might have very well been penalty fouls. Not every push or hand on shoulder is equal.
Ours wasn't a penalty, but even less it was a yellow card offense from Conceicao. I hate it that nobody in Juve is talking about it.
2nd was a huge dive

impossible to argue against the inconsistency of the refs' performance in the last few seasons

i agree with positive attitudie about cl, but the league form is worrying.

league is more important than CL. now juve has 3 home draws against lesser teams and thats difference between making CL next year and not making it.

Getting his hands on Chico, you can saw in the video, it was 3 seconds. If there was no hand push in Chico's shoulder, he probably get away. Defender hand hold create advantage for the defender.

Ref can judge it objectively. If he said it was not a foul, why it must be red for Chico

And why is it different with Inter and Napoli situation in 1st and 2nd picture

"I haven't seen the images. But if it's simulation, it's fair enough." During the press conference after the draw between his Juventus and Cagliari, Thiago Motta returned to the second yellow card given by referee Marinelli to Francisco Conceiçao , for simulation, at the end of the match.

More than today's match, the Italian-Brazilian coach's statements look to the future: "It's something we've been talking about for a long time, even in meetings with Rocchi: simulations are not good for the game. I repeat, I have to see. But I trust the referee, but now a precedent is being set and it must always be like this: there are no interpretation

ADVERTISI
It shouldn't be done every now and then or when it's convenient: that's not the case today, there was nothing special. The referee saw a simulation and in these cases the player should be sent off. However, from now on, it should be done always and not every now and then. We would all gain from it"

Did he talk to the refere
"I said the same things I said to you. There is no longer any interpretation, yes or no, the referee saw simulation and rightly cautioned because simulation should not be done. Now it must always be done, otherwise it is bad for football. Conceicao is a fantastic boy, honest, he always trains with an incredible attitude. However, if he tried to simulate, it is a yellow card. To do well in this game, simulation must be seen carefully, it must always be done. It must be punished. I leave the margin because I have not seen it yet but I trust the referee. It also helps Conceicao to improve?

Gatti:"These are games we need to win; we dropped two points that will weigh heavily.Mistakes by Vlahovic and Douglas Luiz? We all made mistakes, myself first. The referee? No excuses, this game will help us grow."
