Lack of option for that role? Oh and with Vidal not 100%, Marchisio will have to cover for him. Plus i don't think Allegri has realized that Asamoah can play center mid yet.

TBH since we used the 4 man defence Asamoah has primarly played as a CM, both in Australia and in Singapore matches, for what it can mean.

Asamoah getting minutes at CM and sometimes at full back is a lot better than him cementing his place in the team as a first choice full back, once again learning a new role that even further diminishes his attacking ability.


I'd rather sell him than convert him yet again. And i'm a fan of his.
