Welcome in our world. This is a typical Serie A game for us. You'll become a better version of yourself with Juve (or at least a much more stressed one) :touched:
    Typical since this march maybe..
    After inter and bologna.
I prefer not to see another comeback, comfortable 1-0 or 2-0 would be nice :)

    Fiuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Notes to take from this game:

-We should probably play a 3-man midfield, got caught way too easily off the counters
-Berna needs to start games, a mezzala position might even suit him if we cant fit him in attack. Can launch long shots too to break heavy defenses.
    -Giaccherini and Sorrentino are ballers.

All in all we weren't really that terrible, we absolutely dominated for most of the game and missed plenty of chances. Chievo defended very very deep and punished us on their rare chances, one of which was a dumb penalty.

    Nice troll job. 3pts.
-cancelo needs to up his defensive game
-khedira needs to go to the bench (he moves in slow-mo, his positioning maybe world class , but in a 2man midfield we need mobility)
-i guess the 4-2-3-1 is still not working
    -what happend to dybala?
-ussual problems for cuadrado (poor decision making)

Still first official game of the season. We can only go up in performance from here.

    Regarding Ronaldo;

I voiced concerns immediately when I saw the draw for the the Serie-A season and saw that Chievo away was our opening game. And I also posted that Samp-Juve vid from 1982 earlier today, cause I've had a bad feeling all along.

It was the worst place ever that he could debut for us. Such a difficult stadium to play, they sit back a lot and we've struggled against them many times.

So glad to have this game out of the way, and with a win as well.

He did show glimpses of greatness today, and I'm really excited ahead of the Lazio game next week. I think he will get his first goal for Juve in that game.

I liked to see CR7 drifting wide to his original left wing. He's just a little wasted waiting for crosses in the box..
He's really good when running towards defenders!

Berna is class. At multiple positions. If we play 4-3-3, we should play with him in midfield!

    Fuck that was terrifying

Not buying the midfield 2 tbh with our 2 very attack minded full backs and a shakey Bonucci, we look way too fucking open.

Thankfully we're absolutely stacked up front and can still clutch these games even on bad days such as this one.

We won. All that matters. And we absolutely dominated the match. Retarded finishing and final balls stopped this from being an 8-2 demolition.
    Wrong.

The only thing stopping an 8-2 demolition was Sorrentino :D

At times in the first half we looked like a true top team. Chievo looked terrified and we created lots of chances.

At times in the second half we showed the same problems as last year. Chievo deserved their 2nd goal and once again the 4-2-3-1 was looking overrun. We also showed the same complacency as last year. Nobody bothering to stop the cross and Bonucci not bothering to defend for the equaliser.

Great attitude to turn it around. Mandzukic's goal was incredibly harsh, no way Ronaldo was trying to handle that.

I think the combinations down the left (Alex Sandro/Douglas Costa) and right (Cuadrado or Berna/Cancelo) look really promising. Once everyone clicks going forward we could be superb.

Chiello-Bon patnership still there, it's a good thing to see..
Other than bon backpass and his cleareance (to supposedly Licht side), he's doing fine.
