People here trying to suggest Viola were some super tough team to face and we should be happy with a draw. Finished 16th in the league last year with 41 points. Have 1 point from the first 3 matches. Dat ambition. @Dru :lol3:
and they didn't win since montella was appointed around early april. according to some, it was a great effort anyway :baus:

I'm loving this new Danilo Sandro thing we have going on. :weee:

Sandro performing well leads me to believe that if Sarri can get him looking good again and keep the Danilo haters quiet, things look good for now.

They both need backups, they work a lot during the game and we don't want them broken when it really matters

    Agreed about the backups.

That's on Paratici though, not Sarri. Shouldn't have sold Spinzz.

Worst case scenario is Cuads back there...unfortunately, our best case scenario is MDS to stay fit for backup.

Even if we won by small margins under Allegri, it always felt like we created more chances and were let down by poor finishing more than anything.
What are you blabbing about?! The main thing everyone was complaining last season was lack of attacking plan and creating almost nothing up front. Juve's last season attack plan was constant crossing to nobody.

We created more last season than we've created thus far this season.

    This season:
    13.8 shots
    6 shots inside the box
    4.5 shots on target

    Last season:
    16 shots
    8.4 shots inside the box
    5.3 shots on target

Still a small sample size from this season, but we haven't been any better going forward thus far.

As you said too small sample from this season to be relevant. One game, fiorentina for example only 8 shots (one on target), is making big difference on end result.
I see a lot of complaints and comparisons to last years about yesterday's game which I don't understand. Juve was having 21 shots on goal from which 10 on target, by statistic numbers better attacking game than last season.

You clearly have an agenda against Sarri, let it go bro. If not for those ridiculous refereeing decisions Fiorentina should've beaten Napoli at home too. Viola away is no walk in the park at all.

Allegri is gone, he was a great manager for us but he's not here anymore. If people miss him so much they can follow him to his next team and cheer him on there. It's almost as people wish we lose just to make their point Allegri is a better manager than Sarri. We understand you don't like Sarri but give the dude a chance.

I don't think there was anything special in our performance against Verona. It was a tough game that we just about survived in the end. We didn't really create many good chances and could have easily drawn that game. Also we only had 3 shots on target in that game, not sure where you got your numbers. Statistically it wasn't anything special either, we had many better games last season.

Still early though so let's see how we do in a few weeks.

You are right, it's 10 shots from inside of box, 3 on target.
I never even thought of it as some excellent performance just not worse than last years performances.
