Snarky response aside, we are close enough. To beat Juve in the league you need to get close to winning every game. They will need some 95 points which doesnt leave room for many mistakes. Inter are not there.
lol it wasn't a snarky response. I was pointing out that not even we are capable of winning every match. I don't think Napoli are as strong as Inter this season. Conte is a master at laying solid foundations. He will do it there and the league will see a different Inter.

    sarri:
    - ronaldo felt a little muscle fatigue in his abductor, he'll be evaluated before the match
    - higuain's nose isn't broken, he'll be available
    - it's not a video game, it takes time to implement ideas
    - he studied brescia until 22:30 yesterday; they are a well built, entertaining, dangerous team
    - he considers matuidi a very important player due to tactical reasons; shame for douglas costa's injury, he was about to become important too
    - he didn't check any other teams besides the ones on our schedule so far, so he can't assess rivals
    - free kicks on the right belong to cr and pjanic; the left side depends on whether dybala or bernardeschi are on the pitch

    Dybala - Higuain - Berna I suppose
He isn't dumb enough to play Dybala on the wing.

Either 442 (which is current defensive shape anyway) with Dybala-Higuain up top or Cuadra-Higuain/Dybala-Berna (but that would make Matuidi's role weird, so might be former). Guessing Mandzo has been excommunicated.

Dybala on the wing is bad!
wait until you see higuain there :klin:

we only have cuadrado and berna as available wingers, or at least players who are close to a natural winger. also, sarri already said that he'd rather picked berna as a "specialist midfielder". so we'll have to wait and see what he has in mind.

anyway, gazzetta predict cuadrado, higuain, dybala.

He said Berna's future is in midfield but for now he'll be a winger. Which is only logical given we'd have 8 mids and lack wingers.

Absolutely nothing suggests he'll play Dybala as winger. His defensive shape is a 442, where Dybala obv doesn't fit as a winger. And he isn't quick to change shapes, certainly won't at start of the season, or at any point if it's working (big fan of Matuidi in that role already, and you need that shape with Ronaldo and no Mandzukic).

He had also said he sees Dybala as F9 or even AM and not winger.

It'll be Dybala-Higuain up top in a 442 (very minor tweak from already lopsided 433 in attack) this game. With Higuain prolly sometimes showing to left wing during transition till everyone moves up.

and they didn't win since montella was appointed around early april. according to some, it was a great effort anyway :baus:
Montella's last win in any team dates back to March 2018. He was fired from Sevilla after a run of 9 games without a win, and is yet to have one in his return to Viola.

Lineup in Verona match was against all expectations. Let's hope for something similar here. But Higuain on the wing is a joke.

Way too much talk of winning CL (dumb to invite even more pressure; will never win while being that obsessed and constant finals record talk when we do reach the final) and how strong we were last year. I like Sarri's approach more. Though part of that is rooted in reality at this stage with new team and opponents that other coaches would've shared too.
