This is were are lack of squad depth hurt us.

Our whole backline have played all the summer friendlies and Europea League qualifiers with out a break and their tiredness showed today.

I know we all hate Grygera but it looks like is is our back up RB so we should of used him more in pre season to give Motta a rest, same iwth the other 3 in our Defence.

Once Krasic adjusts and Aqulani is match fit im sure we'l see a better Juve.

We will improve and I expect us to get a top 4 finish.

thats right swag serie B.

we looked pretty shit in our first game last year IIRC.

if last year showed us anything our first two games mean shit all, not saying i am happy to lose or thinks its "acceptable"

andy is always going on about knee jerking yet he is doing it himself.

I couldn't watch the game, I had work. I know we lost but how did we play? And why was Krasic subbed off for Martinez at half? I was reading play-by-plays on my phone and it seemed like Krasic was doing a fine job, and causing problems.
We played average-poorly. Lightweight up front with no centre forward, short of ideas in midfield where the wingers struggled to get into the game and our CM was quiet, and with some suspect defending from the flanks. Sound familiar? Bari to be honest played a great game, but then it is their cup final and they won't play the same against a 'normal' opponent in the next round. We have to deal with that and be better than it. But hey, we lost 3-1 here last year so we are clearly improving

One other thing that I found strange for us was our lack of threat on set pieces, we had many freekicks and corners and hardly any chances, but for Chiellini's headerright at the end, surprising as it is normally a big weapon for us.

The Krasic sub was a brainfart. The team hardly passed the ball to him, considering they had the possession and they didn't pass it to that bonehead Pepe. I think he would've done more had he stayed till the end.

Give credit to DN that he had to play 2 recent signings on the field, and that they needed time to gel. But he showed a completely lack of knowledge about judging the players! Taking Melo off for Sissoko? Keeping DP on? Is this supposed to be the great "tactician"? It was stupid! Had he mad the right subs, we probably could've scraped a draw. But after subbing off Krasic and Melo, I lost all hopes of a draw. And rightly so.

He's 60 years old.
He has plenty of time to start learning.
Yep, decades left in Italy :D

Well, let's compare with last season under Ferrara. Our second match against Roma, and we were ready to be anointed the new champions of Italy. There isn't any such talk now.

I guess starting at the bottom of the league is good, as there's nowhere else for us to go but up now. ;)
I like you thinking.

I remember Roma had a shit start last season, but they did well in the end to challenge for the title. I hope something like that happens to us.

Bari were everything we weren't, sharp, quick, direct, organised. We were below average at everything.

Im not too worried as of yet, but I'm glad we had this performance today so it at least shows Marotta there is more work to be done on the mercato front.

 Thank you.

I would have wanted us to win this one, obviously. 3 points would have been very useful but like already mentioned last season when we beat, who was it Chievo? and then Roma we were all over the media saying we are going to dethrone Inter. Where was Roma? They were in last, look where they ended up in - 2nd. Juventus need rest, they need to reassess, and Aquilani has to start. I know Juve can do this!

Mourinho, great comparison  He went from Porto to Abramovich's Chelsea, the richest team in England. Then he went to Inter, already champions and miles ahead of the other sides who they weakened. Now he has gone to Real Madrid, the richest and biggest team in Spain. Yep, I don't know how Jose does it.
That Abramovich's chelsea was Ranieri team before Mou came what did he do?:shifty:

As for Real Madrid the richest the biggest and all those things u mentioned,How many coaches came to Real madrid n failed?????????????????????:shifty: :shifty: :shifty: :shifty: :shifty:

It is all about Quality,if u are great u will make things great if u are loser u will make nothing.

And DN is :sergio:

Calm down guys and stop with your girly whining..its not the end of the world for god sake, Our beloved team still need time to adapt, to be what we called "a Solid Group" ..after all this is a new whole group. I still have faith we can do better...don't you all?its to early to judge...Give a time for Quag, he just got here and for Krasic there should be a reason why DN pull him out on the 2nd half but he show a good potential right?...this shit is gonna going better and better...just considered this as a shocking therapy for our player, to wake them up and give all the best, sometimes we should losing before we start winning. Give them a time, be patient.....This is a new era for Juve and once again new era need a time to reach the best. and never once to compare with what maurinho done...he already had a solid group under him. We have new coach and new group of human being and need to understand each other.....so if you love Juve..stand behind them and support them whatever it takes.
