Could be and Calhanoglu is shite too. Still, I could only imagine the comments if Cherubini had signed him.
I personally wouldn’t mind a known backup on a 2 year contract. And Cherubini has gotten us Kean on a 2 year loan and obligation, and apparently is going to tie MDS to a 3-year contract.

I was pissed at DeS staying, but honestly not many players (not even Pellegrini) would want to stay as bench players, rumours say that his wage will be around 1.7mln so not that bad. Next year both AS and Cuadrado will leave so it will be him and Danilo as back ups, with Molina and Udogie or some other LB as starters. As per Kean yeah, it was bad but Ronaldo fucked us up, and by the looks of it we might correct the mistake this summer.

If Kean was a 2 year loan without the obligation I wouldn’t mind him either. The key is that an experienced backup for a 2 year contract is ok.
I wasn’t mad about MDS either. Why should I cry over a backup?

The disgraceful thing is going into the season with Alex Sandro as starting LB. We won’t be changing any of our fullbacks this season and probably only adding one quality CM (Pogba) so I won’t expect much in terms of results next season. Probably be worse tbh.

It sems I missed the point.

I would wait until the end of mercato to give judgement. Remember, a couple of days before we signed Vlahovic and Zakaria we were linked to Azmoun and Milik. And let's not forget Locatelli, too. If they manage to get rid of Arthur, Kean and Rabiot I would be happy, AS is impossible to move unfortunately. We are linked to Molina, no? Don't see us adding another CM, at least not SMS caliber CMs but I really hope we keep Miretti and Fagioli.

Why so?

Locatelli, Pogba and Zakaria are practically a new starting trio in the midfield that Pirlo didnt have. No last min Ronaldo departure this time, and a fully integrated Vlahovic. Chiesa returning from injury too and would be year 2 under a legendary coach.

No one is expecting style from Allegri but not even results? wow

Already starting with excuses before a friendly is even played. You have less faith in the coach than me it seems

We need a coach like Italiano who can teach players offensive moments rather than relying on jihadball.

Kean is totally not compareable; he's a homegrown young player with much room for growth and we're still (rightfully) trying to get rid of him after 1 season...

MDS is going to be our 3rd choice right back and very cheap, I don't mind. Also totally different to the heavy contract of a fading Miki.
