You are joking but I think he`ll do very well for Inter and they`ll laugh at it like we laughed at them when they swapped Carini for Cannavaro.

In any case I expect a much tougher Serie A - Milan will be stronger while Inter will be much stronger and Juve.. depends on the summer but I expect us to be better as well.
Favorite for the Scudetto? Since we are just building a team and we are not gelled yet, I expect a threeway for the Scudetto with Juve and Inter have a slight advantage. I might even say Inter are the favorite.
Final standings - We will see but I expect something like that:
Juve/Inter
Milan
Roma - Mourinho will make them a bit better next year but not enough to really challenge anyone.
Napoli - They will fall a bit with the expected sale of Koulibaly but they should still retain a CL spot
Atalanta - Gasperini has some problems there I heard, I think it will affect Atalanta and they will only get EL spot.
Lazio/Fiorentina - Expect the same more or less
How do you figure Inter will be much stronger? Even adding Dybala, they are going broke and have been told to make a 60m PROFIT in transfers this year. The board was rumored to have told the club needs a 15% reduction in the wage bill AFTER the players leaving this year like Sanchez, Vidal, etc. This is all after the current obligations they already have. Last summer they sold off two of their best players for 179m and the money is already gone. Now they have obligations to purchase Correa for 23.6m and are starting with a transfer balance of -16.1m.

Consder then that several key players that made their team work so well are out or might soon be out. Perisic is gone to Tottenham. Bastoni has informed the Inter board he wishes to go to Tottenham. De Vrij won't extend and thus might be sold. If anything, I'd argue their castle could be falling part. They're hoping to add an oft injured second striker on massive wages in Dybala and might in the process lose the backbone of their defense which is the key in an effective back three.

Gosens has not proven to be as effective as he was at Atalanta (which can obviously change) after a major injury, Skriniar is still out injured and there are questions around another muscle injury for him. I mean, they've been playing converted wingbacks in CB BEFORE losing any CB to transfer market. I know there are links to Bremer and that is the hope but financially this club is absolutely fucked up.

Compared to Juventus where we are finally starting to free up our wage bill, pushing for younger players for another cycle, and trying to fix things, I can't imagine Inter being considered much stronger. They are being gutted and sliced to pieces to remain as small a financial burden as possible for their Chinese owners who find themselves unable to invest due to Chinese policy and the club cannot remain afloat without massive stripping down of wages and player sales.

Luckily their core midfield of Bozo and Barella are strong and that will keep some level of consistency in the midfield. But I worry about that defense and I worry about them extending Handanovic with Onana coming. What does that tell the young Ajax keeper? What does that tell Radu on the bench who is also young and thought he was the heir apparent to Handa? Very strange indeed.

Agree. Inter is likely downsizing again or remaining the same. They had a higher chance of winning it this year than next year.

If Allegri gets his shit together and we continue to invest in the team, its between us and Milan. Milan just got acquired, have a young core and have the momentum and experience of winning against the odds this year.

IMO Inter will benefit more from their new duo.
Are they the strongest? Not on paper as on paper I believe Juve are the team to beat but we need to gel and it takes time

It's true, on paper we are stronger.

I think their attack gets better but their defense and outwide gets weaker. Perisic was an unsung hero for them, especially at the beginning of Serie A and at the end of the fixture. Same goes for defense. They look to be getting gutted defensively and don't have the funds to easily replace them all.

It's one of the reasons I think we should be pushing for Bremer more. Not only is it a cheaper option than most other players but it deprives them of a decently priced replacement.

allow me to counter:

we have bad coach

chiesa is ruined no way he will be a good player after his acl.

zakaria always injured.

locatelli flopped

sandro is still here

rabiot is still here

pogba will join ramsey in the forvever injured section

vlahovic will continue rolling on ground asking for fouls

juve bad team for 1 more season at least
