Crotone's president: "It will be exciting to face Milan, Roma and Inter. I don't quote Juventus because we have already faced them in Serie B."

Report: Inter won't renew Mancini
By Football Italia staff

Inter have decided not to renew Roberto Mancini’s contract, according to Tuttosport.

His current deal is due to expire at the end of the 2016-17 season.

The Coach is in America with the squad for their summer tour and is due to meet President Erick Thohir tonight.

Next week representatives from new owners Suning Group will also be present for talks with Mancini.

Tuttosport claim those close to the club revealed there is no intention of renewing Mancini’s contract, nor investing heavily into the squad.

The list of alternatives is already being drawn up in case Mancio decides to walk away before the season begins.

Leonardo is at the forefront in what would be a return to the club and to management.

Cesare Prandelli is available and Marcelo Bielsa is a far tougher option, as Lazio threatened to sue him for breach of contract.

So much for the change in ownership.

Fuck Serie A and fuck the FIGC. Nobody gave a fuck when we were made an example of and unfairly punished so I'm glad we have bought out all the competition.

Lazio to be crowned Serie A Champions...100 years after losing out

the Italian club never got to play the final against Genoa during the 1914-15 season

Lazio are about to be awarded with the third Scudetto in the history of the club.

The 1914-15 Italian title was awarded to Genoa on the grossly unfair assumption that they were the better side. Lazio had finished runners-up in the previous two seasons and felt as though they had the chance to right those wrongs before WWI happened.

The Italian Football Federation set up a commission to investigate the outcome of the season in question following a petition that was set up by fans of the club, who feel they were robbed of the title.

When Genoa and Lazio's final game of the season was called off because Italy were entering World War One, Genoa were awarded the title and now Lazio might be ready to share the title in an outcome that seems only fair.

"It is a legitimate Scudetto," said Lazio president Claudio Lotito via the BBC.

"It was taken away from us by the war," he continued.

Genoa were awarded the title because it was generally believed that they had the better squad. Lazio, however, were not happy with that assumption and could be set to share the title after 30,000 supporters of the club signed the petition.

The decision will be made by the Italian Football Federation on August 4th.

They'll be competent in this decision? Lotito at head of the league.

what about the 1908 and 1909 scudetti not given to Juve? and a couple of others too?

Does that not set some kind of precedent of awarding historical scudetti? If they agree that Lazio deserves this one based on just trying to be fair maybe they'll take the advice of their own chief prosecutor who reccommended that we get at least one of ours back from 10 years ago.

Milan  Is Montolivo still the captain?
