Honestly, at this point a Serie A all star team would literally be the Juve starting XI.
Seriously. I literally cannot think of one Serie A player who would start ahead of the current first eleven.

If Pogba leaves, then perhaps you have the likes of Hamsik and Nainggolan who would start ahead of Khedira(I'm assuming all players are fit including Marchisio)

Yeah, Hamsik & Nainggolian could be included, but other than that :D

And even they aren't by any means sure starters over Marchisio - Pogba - Pjanic (Khedira).

Nainggolan-Marchisio would be very close, but I still think Marchisio is the better player. It's just that injuries have hampered him somewhat the last few years. No way Hamsik would start over one of those three though.

I think all of Pjanic, Marchisio, Hamsik, Nainggolian are pretty much on the same level imo. They all occupy different roles, but in terms of quality they're virtually equal.

Khedira also almost, but slightly below.

What I actually meant to say was that if Pogba leaves. Then both Marchisio and Khedira would start, and if Khedira starts as a CM, then Hamsik and Nainggolan would start ahead of him.

I didn't mean to compare them to Marchisio, mainly because I think in Juve's current setup, most probably he'd occupy the deeplying playmaker role in front of the defense while the former two are CM's.

But I agree with Ocelot completely. Those three are of similar quality despite the fact they all play different roles, while Khedira is slightly lower than them.

They're all very close. But Hamsik wouldn't add much to our midfield anyway. Still, it would be pretty awesome if we bought Hamsik and Nainggolan in January. They'd be great for the depth of our squad.

Hamsik could probably be compared more to Pjanic. I don't think there is much between them, but if you look at recent form then Pjanic is better.

Yes, that's my point exactly. He's like Pjanic, who recently has been better. Nainggolan would add something over Khedira imo.

Gattuso 'fed up’ of Juve winning
By Football Italia staff

Former Milan player Gennaro Gattuso admits to being 'fed up’ of Juventus’ domination of Italian football.

The ex-Rossoneri midfielder, now Coach at Pisa, added that the Old Lady’s challengers should look to the example of Leicester City in last year’s English Premier League as they attempt to topple Max Allegri’s team.

“I hope it is more enjoyable,” Gattuso said of the upcoming Serie A season. “Both I and a lot of supporters are fed up of seeing Juventus winning. Look at the miracle of Leicester, even though in the long term quality shines through.

“Juve, Napoli and Roma: I would say that we could put them in that order.”

I place a healthy Khedira on the same level. One of the smartest all-around mids in the game. Only his injuries keep him slightly below these guys.
