Friendship with Ale? Pretty sure they didn't like each other
I think they respected each other and to an extent were friends, but there was always a rivalry between them too.

Noel Gallagher was supposedly invited to the Azzurri camp right before the semi final in 2006 by Del Piero and when he was there and he was talking to Ale, Ale pointed to Totti and said 'there's the devil'. The way Gallagher tells the story it's sort of an inside joke, but at the same time there is real tension between them.

It's Noel Gallagher though, so who the fuck knows.

I can say that I have never heard either one of them speak ill of the other, and Totti does not hold back when it comes to Juve.

Yeah I know that story, beyond the sporting aspect, both iconic number 10s, their personalities are day and night

They are, but Del Piero is at the very least a reasonably intelligent man and Totti strikes me as a person who is able to appreciate in others that what he does not have.

Another example of this is his friendship with Nesta (which has often been confirmed).

I also think that, if you're both icons of a generation and you have spent several tournaments carrying the weight of a nation on your back, you must have some sort of a connection.

I love that they had only good results, but, because it also mattered to us, we still beat them 3-0.

Wow lol, the Palermo keeper was just standing there, then he quickly gives the ball back to restart play. Surely not...

Some lad on one betting group has £900,000 on Empoli to win this game, lol.

Empoli miss a good chance for 2-2.
Lol, somebody is gonna kill himself tonight

900k? who the fuck lumps that sort of money on the hopes of a fix, deserved to lose every penny for that matter and considering the odds on empoli the value was on palermo to win, tbh i dont know why i didnt put money on them myself tonight, instead i went for an over 2.5 goal acca, after a good day on the horses today

And fuck Totti. So glad he's retiring, sick of all the bullshit surrounding him. He's been a finished player for 5 years now. Good fucking riddance to him
this

del piero didn't have half the fanfare totti is getting yet Del Piero actually was useful right up to his final game, totti was finished years ago.

Makes you think that after the meltdown of when Del Piero was leaving, it was managed by Juve far better than totti's announcement
