I don't know how anyone could ever like Totti tbh.

Dude, I don't think Ale could have asked for a more perfect final game.
i guess you're referring to the home game against atalanta. many tend to forget that alex's last game was actually the coppa final defeat to napoli.

and yes, i think alex deserves a farewell game at the juve stadium. as far as i remember, he never officially announced his retirement.

Crotone comeback is probably one of the greatest in football ever.

As for Totti, good riddance. He has always been a piece of shit, one of the filthiest players in Italy. So glad he didn't win anything for almost a decade.

I know, but that was not Del Piero's final game in front of his own fans.

No man, many of us grew up with Del Piero and Totti. I was never a Totti fan, but he did score some spectacular goals and he was simply around for so long that it's normal to miss him.

I bet many Roma and Milan fans felt the same way about Ale..
Any Azzurri fan or Serie a fan would miss Totti, there's no two ways about it, they can hate him, insult him but serie a will miss him alongside many of those names like Del Piero and Maldini previously. He was a huge part of 90's Italian football and the man played till today which is to admire for and his love for his city and people is something to look at it and maybe just hope couple of them will follow on their footsteps. The likes of Del Piero, Maldini, Totti, Buffon, De Rossi don't come very often.

I admit I was emotional last night, his team-mates, close friend, fans made it one of those days that any man would love to be in his place.

As a Juve fan and for someone who loves and admire Italian football since I was little boy, I'll miss him.

Southern Alliance paesano. Palemmu got it done.

I hope to see more and more southern clubs come up. Hopefully Reggina make a miraculous recovery over the next few years and work their way back to the top. I'd love to see Avellino up there too, given their intense hatred of Napoli and their friendship with our ultras groups.

So what? I grew up watching some annoying players through the years, but I don't attach myself to them. That's just some nostalgia, Totti has been irrelevant for the past decade or so. Most people are sad for Totti because they feel he represents the past that is finally gone. That's just some stupid shit, footballers are always gonna come and go. I understand to be sad if you are a fan of the team that he plays with, but otherwise it's a complete waste of emotional attachment.

Yes. Let us live our lives without emotion.

It's just that it makes you realize that a big part of your life went by.
Like the best part of your whole life.
When Del Piero started playing I was 4 years old. I grew up watching Del Piero and the day! That day after 22years where he has been part of our life It would never come back. I felt sad.
Cause my life just passed me by and I wished so hard I could go back in time and replay the whole thing.
    So damn hard dude.
Football is more than a sport, a religion is like a brother that shared our room for a life and then he suddenly die, leaving you alone in that room looking up for something that is no more and will never come back.

women come and go but your team is forever

900k? who the fuck lumps that sort of money on the hopes of a fix, deserved to lose every penny for that matter and considering the odds on empoli the value was on palermo to win, tbh i dont know why i didnt put money on them myself tonight, instead i went for an over 2.5 goal acca, after a good day on the horses today

Link? Any comments from him? :D
I'll check later, it's a group my bro is in. Best thing is he was going out for the Sunday night (it's bank holiday today) and it obviously ruined his night badly :D He was about 40K from earlier in the day but still pretty bad.

WTF I just noticed I typed an extra zero. It was £96,000 he put on the Empoli win :D
