Divine? Nah, I can do that shit....well without the pressure on me :D In fact that's what I like about DP, he uses skills that are fairly common in the most amazing ways, like just using 2 or 3 cuts to juke out the entire RM defense (2003) including the keeper.

Now Ronaldinho is divine. If I worked my ass off for 30 years I still couldn't pull off half the shit he does.

I agree with the rest of your post, though zlatan does have the potential to be great, he seems to be throwing it all away.
That's what's divine about it. Del Piero does the common things, but he does them so well they become brilliant. How he controls the ball for example, is the way to do it. His style of play is so academical.

I've got a mark for Zlatan : 4,he can't get in a game and expect to score like that,he should have pass to zala in that big ocassion but instead he just lost it like a stupid 13 year old child, back in the schol yard :D
Man I'm glad he's plaing like shit :))) there are some people, like him,who are just too much to handle for me,he makes me puke every time I see him,he's lucky he's a juventino couse if he wasnt I would probably killed him already :))))

good match, incredible 1'st half for Trezegol,he's THE MAN,I also liked DP and Camo and ofcourse Zambro

now they will appear here ,Sir Sebastian :p
He's cute, don't be jealous of him, though he sucked with the little time he was given

Rab I think you take this shit too personally. You keep throwing out personal insults...no one else has done such things.

Well, I didn't actually start this, I've been asking him since long time to stay away, I'm not a fan of the Block list thing...I just don't want him to quote me and start telling me some Bullshits....I got fed up with the likes of him....Whenever Dp is performing he log in just to Fvck around.

A 'quick' summary of the match:

Glad to see us playing such a convincing first half, the first 20 minutes in particular . Some easy flowing combinations, nice for a change. Especially Del Piero and Trezeguet finding each other and leading the frontline, like they should. Ofcourse Ascoli's defence was chaos, but i'd still like to complement our attack for a job well done. A hattrick for Trezeguet within 20 minutes, must be the one of the quickist hattricks ever. The first half for the rest of the duration was quite open, with a pretty opportunistic Ascoli daring to attack. One lapse in concentration resulted in Ascoli's goal; Cannavaro and Thuram were late, Vieira couldn't keep up with Ascoli's Comotto and Zambrotta was out of position. After that though, we didn't allow Ascoli to create such chances anymore.

Second half was pretty uneventful in contrast to the first. We slowed down the tempo and killed off the match. It might not be the supporters choise of tactic, but the smarter tactic. With a busy schedule, preserving energy instead of going for more goals in an already won match is the best thing to do. Ascoli didn't get anymore shots at goal, though we created only a few chances ourselves. Subsitute Ibrahimovic was wasteful with the biggest chance of the second half; trying to control the ball instead of directly passing to the open Zalayeta. Oh well, few players are interested in coming on as a sub in these kind of matches.....

Though Ascoli was awful in defence, all in all a job well done and quite an easy day of work. I hope we keep it up.

Player ratings:

Buffon: Uneventful day, gave me the feeling of leading the defensive line well. Not at fault at the goal conceded. 6(hard to rate though)

Zebina: Quite impressed by him actually. Offers a lot of athletisisme, with his strength, agility and speed, to our aging central defence. Good going forward as well, calm and skilled and even dribbled well. Keep it up Zebina. 6.5

Thuram: Played a good match, but can't help but feel that age is catching up with him. His impressive moments sadly mix up with the lacklustre moments, such was the case at the goal conceded goal. Luckily did notice any real decline today. 6

Cannavaro: Played the way we know him. Could've done better, to prevent the 1-3 though. 6+

Zambrotta: He IS better on the left. There was something really familiar on seeing him on the leftside of the field with Zebina back on the right. A dynamic performance by Zambrotta today, bombed down the left well and active in the defence. Had a tough time with Foggia in the first half. He dealt pretty well with Foggia though, especially in the second half where Foggia didn't get to touch the ball anymore. 6.5

Camoranesi: Good and active match. I think Camo is having a good season, contrary to claims of certain pundits. He's had a few less impressive matches this season, but even the lesser matches have been decent. Two assists today, which means he is our topassister once again. His overall contribution was excellent today. Would be a huge loss, were he really to leave at the end of the season. 7

Emerson: More of the Emerson I want to see, opposite to the Empoli match. Won us a lot of balls and was both aggresive and our 'beacon of calmth'. 6+

Vieira: Ditto as Emerson, improved on his performance against Empoli. Still has a tendency of getting cards though and a little ball hoggish at times. 6

Nedved: I do think our team has the knack of performing better with Nedved in it. He himself might not perform, but the team benefits from his presence somehow. Nedved has had a hot and cold season so far, with luckily falling into the hot category today. Active in the first half and very dynamic in his movement. Quiet in the second half, but most of the team was. 6.5

Del Piero: I felt an old chemistry between him and Trezeguet was restored today, with Del Piero as the provider and Trezeguet as the finisher. DP's passes were well directed towards his teammates, especially around the box. Involved in every attack that led to a goal, and assisted one. Very active and some nice moves, especially his contribution to the 2-0 was formidable. 7.5!

Trezeguet: Quite active and scored an hattrick. His goals speak volumes. Man of the match. 8

That's what I mean. When you watch him do something great it looks like, "well i can do all that, it just never happens," which is still amazing talent, but I wouldn't consider it as divine as Ronaldinho.

Well, I don't really believe in god in the first place so none of them are divine, just "lucky" :D

Ronaldinho is about tricks.
Del Piero is about skill.

Actually I'm glad Zlatan's playing like shit now as well.

a) That way he'll be there four to five weeks before the end of the championship and that still is the most important period.
b) It's better for the team in the long run if Del Piero is restored as a starter. I think we play more fluently with him than we do with Zlatan.

Go try to do any of his tricks. Don't tell me they don't require skill.
Sure they do, but in the end his tricks are something you can learn. The key to being a good football player are the skills Del Piero has. Ronaldinho's tricks aren't what makes him such a good player.

very good report though i wonder what makes u think Canna was better than Thuram in tjis particular game?
the goal situation was a litle complicated, i dont blame anyone specific, but Canna wasnt in his place and if he was the traiectory of the ball would have hit him,IMO other than that, he tried to clear 3times the ball using his hands on the Ascoli's players, two times that costs us some FK outside our box
and for a last note his bad comunication with Buffon almost cost us one goal once,
Thuram on the other hand, although old, finished, tired from the Roma game,
intercepted balls, players about 10 times, did no mistakes, was in his place in the goal play(between the ball and the player) and he would have intercepted it too if it wasnt that perfect or if his team players(Canna+Zambro) let a litle less space to Acoli players from the left side,he also stepped forward and helped our midfield many times, what else he sould do to worth a 7? 6.5 atleast
