Everyone's bitching that we let off in the 2nd half....why the fuck do you want to waste energy when we're blatantly going to win the game. Play smart, not pretty.
You do know that it's more tiring to play without the ball than with it, right? And these are professional footballers, they're supposed to be able to go for 90 mins and what exactly do they need to be rested up for? The Coppa Italia second leg? You don't have to kill yourself to play attacking football.

A good result but I find it disappointing that we always relax in the second half when leading comfortably against inferior opposition.

Well done Trez and DP.

thats because players arent ROBOTS! come on 3 goals scored, do you want them to kill themselves in this game and then play sh-t against roma....

think about this....its because to save energy!

:agree: agreed, why waste energy and play 100% in the second half against weak team....

How did Zebina do?
very good, this time he was playing close to the center and let the exp trio (Canna,Thuram,Zambro) to do the offside trap,
he supported Camo with passes, coverage and even some runs

That's exactly what I'm saying, and which is why I saw Juve in possession for most of the 2nd half...

We definitely weren't chasing, all I can think back to is time after time that the defence was just knocking it around until someone fouled them.

Luckily most people here see the game, but for those who don't, they might actually believe that crap you're typing, which is only half true. The way you exaggerate as soon as Del Piero touches the ball is just disgusting.
He's been man of the match so far, though.

And remember we play Ascoli, not Barcelona.
this is getting sick esteban. what shall DP do, shall he do something special every time he touches the ball. ?? this is not possible. if you have no emotions to celebrate this great moments of the team and of DP than shut up and go elsewhere.

I am happy we won, and a great strategy to lay back, we have plenty of games these next weeks.

And just to calm all this talking, at least Esteban did acknowledge that DP was Man of the match.
DP really has been quite a different player these last two seasons and especially this season, I can't remember the last time I was pleased to see DP play week-in week-out (definately before 2000).

What is the sense in trying to pound ascoli 7-0? It's just completely unneccesary to put in the extra effort to do that. We have no messages to send, we're already the kings of serie a.

Buffon-> 6.0 the goal wasnt his fault this time,he saved the ball when needed

Zebina-> 6.5 good game, he helped a lot both def and ofensive

Canna-> 6.0 did a few mistakes,nu crucial though and wasted two of our corners:D

Thuram-> 7.0 good game,no mistakes, cleared 7+counterattacks,involved a lot, organized our defence and our offside trap game,he wasnt tired from the Roma game

Zambro-> 6.5 he tried but he wasnt as effective as Zebina,is he turning into a RB?

Emo-> 6.5 he was playing deep in our defence, most of the time Zebi was in front of him,he took this game seriusly

Vieira-> 5.9 did a few wrong passes, missed twice his temper, but he improoved comparing him to the last games

Nedved->6.0, he was probably tired being the hero after the Roma game,he was positive not that impressive though, i dont undestand why Capello didnt sub him and he did subbed Camo

Camo-> 7.0, he was all over the place,he had to proove his value, great contribution to the game

Del Piero-> 7.4, great game, nice combinations with treze, he was unstoppable, he outrunned and outmuscled much younger, taller defenders

Trezegoal-> 7.5, he stole the show, ascoli wasnt a team able to stop him,
not only he was in the right place at the right time and with the right reaction 3times, he was also very helpfull with his passes/headers in the construction of the game

Mutu-> 5.5 never got into the game as far as i m concerned, not his fault though

Zlatan-> 5.9 small contribution,he was looking unhappy from the situation...

Zalayeta N/A

Thanks for the review.

*sigh*

I guess Del Piero got lucky today. Surely Zlatan would have done better if he had been there from the start. Surely he's the one we should build our team around. It's not like it make sense to build your team around a more skilled player who actually passes the ball, now is it?

I'm not sure who that's directed at, as there isn't really anyone in the last few pages promoting zlatan at all, the guy played like shit.

But on a different note, I'm not saying we should build a team around zlatan, I just don't see why you would want to build a team around a guy that's due to retire soon and doesn't even play week-in week-out.

It's just that you didn't notice those invisible sarcasm-tags around it.

It's directed at those people who can't stop bashing Del Piero's fans even though Del Piero has practically proved to be up for it every time he played this season. It's directed at those people who can't remove Capello's dick from their mouth. TBH I do have some respect for those guys. It must be hard to be sucking Capello's and Zlatan's dick at the same time.

Again, I wanted to quote this post...SO ALL OF YOU WOULD SEE how the Anti Dp fans react After Ale perform good...they just want to fart and let us not enjoy his performance...Now for those who watched the game....re-read Estebans post....

Why can't you Shut the Fvck up and let ppl enjoy this match, why you have to moan all the time like a hoe????

Please answer my question.
So, because I'm not living in that parallel universe of yours where Alessandro Del Piero is God, steering the world with his sideburns, I'm an 'anti-DP-fan'.
That's good to know.
