if you see this he isn't that bad. youtube :touched:
The guy scored 32 goals in a season. It's not like this is a video with him doing a few fancy tricks and showing the same goal from six different angles.

I'm not saying he's the best player in the world and we should sign him, but just because a player looks good in a Youtube video, doesn't mean he's not good.

Well he's not bad. Rossi is a very good player but he simply shouldn't be our priority IMO.
:agree:
If we were linked with Rossi and there wasn't even speak of Aguero we would all (bar Andy and a few) be pretty satisfied...but once you get linked to a player like Aguero...it is hard to find a satisfying alternative.

The people here have some real issues
First they compare Rossi to Aguero doubting who is the better playert then they say Rossi is not good enough

1. Aguero is better than Rossi
2. Rossi is a great player. better than everyone we have
I personally would welcome him here but I think we should still look for Aguero as he is just special
I also think we should put a LW a priority if Conte intends of using one.
Normally managers don`t use only 1 formation as they change it pre game or mid game to fit the opposition. So I guess a LW is a must

Only one of the goals in that video was like it couldn't be scored by our current strikers.
Totally agree, almost every goal he scored was 1 on 1 with the keeper or a penalty. Yes it means that he´s positioning and movement is good, but IMO the italian defences stay rather low on the pitch, meaning less trough balls.

Thats the issue. Rossi is not a difference making player. He will be of no more value to this team than Quag already is. So if Aguero is out, then that money shouldn't be spent on Rossi but a quality winger of the calibre of Nani or Rbery, both of whom will bring a lot more to this team than Rossi would at this point. It really is that simple. Marrotta would be really dumb to spend money for the sake of it, just because he's trying to live up to promises he cant keep.

This is true. It's not very often though that we get an opportunity to sign a player like Aguero and it would be a real shame is we didn't try because Rossi is easier
