If Barca are after him our chances drop to 0%, but so far they still aren't it seems, considering how they're still pushing for Sanchez and raising their previous offers.
Knowing the amount of time it takes us to finish deals, I see barca getting interested, seal the deal and we are still filling pages after pages of news from sites and other forums. We end it up with some curses towards Marotta and the thread getting closed.

doesn't have to be this way ... it could be just a suggestion on his part, and considering Messi is Barca these days, they are more than likely to consider it.
Add to that the rivalry from City and Chelski for Sanchez, with Udinese being in love with City's bid, and they may well consider switching priorities onto Aguero, who is adapted to La Liga and more worth the 40 mil than Sanchez anyway.
The players won't question Guardiola if he is going for Sánchez or Rossi instead of Kun. They respect him.

not sure why a simple suggestion should be a sign of disrespect, this is not the army after all ...

also Barca may well have gone for Sanchez as a first option because they thought they could close that deal for a lot less than Aguero ... maybe even Guardiola himself would prefer Aguero but his pricetag pushed Barca towards Sanchez and now that they see The Chilean wouldn't really be much cheaper, they are considering switching to Aguero

Sanchez and Aguero are different type of players. I'm sure Guardiola knows what type of a player he wants.

I think it's in our best interest Barcelona to sign Sanchez. City want Sanchez as a midfielder and they already have three top attackers, so I doubt they'll go after Kun at all and they'll be after a midfielder, not an attacker. Chelsea seem like they're going to buy Falcao for ~30m eur, so with him and Torres I doubt they'll be after Aguero. With Atletico refusing to sell Aguero to Real and with Milan and Inter already having more than enough top attackers, we remain the only candidates.
In any other case in which a 2nd team is willing to pay big money for Kun, except Real, we're not getting Aguero.

I am sure he does and agree they are diff type but Barca getting Aguero would allow them to put Messi on the right, where he usually has played for them and where Sanchez would be playing for them should he go to barca ... and Messi is better than Sanchez.

Going for Aguero or Sanchez is just a question of reshuffling, in the end ... from a tactical point of view, that is.

But Messi is better than Pedro, and still it's Pedro who plays on the right.

Do you really think we're getting Agüero? Even if barca get Sanchez, Chelsea get Falcao and City get whomever?
