Of course, that's something that has been an issue for a long time now, but it's hard to prevent some things. Milan lost Ibra for three games in a row in the second half of last season and won all those games because of the personnel they had in the squad.

I think injuries are largely down to some of our players now, it wasn't as bad as a couple of seasons ago. Iaquinta, for example, is injured the minute he recovers.

Our team barely turned up to the Europa League. Without quality in depth you're putting a lot of pressure on the starting XI to get results. We definitely need someone to replace Martínez and Motta.
Our depth in defense is not so bad. There is going to be at least one back up for each position as far as I know. The forwards group will likely be Matri, DP, Aguero (?), Toni. CMs might look something like Marrone/Appelt, Pirlo, Marchisio, Pazienza, Melo/Lass(?). It seems like there will probably be at least one back up for each position except our wings next season. Moreover, we might have the personnel but not good personnel. Players like Toni, Barzagli and Pazienza are just not going to win us points in an injury crisis.

If we get a strong SS then attack will be fine, but it gets ugly in defense and midfield.
GK: Buffon, Storari, Manniger
RB: Licht, Grygera, Motta
CB: Chiellini, Bonucci, Barzagli, Sorensen
LB: Ziegler, De Ceglie
RM: Krasic, Pepe, Martinez
CM: Pirlo, Melo, Marchisio, Inler, Pazienza, Appelt
LM: Bastos, F.Rossi, Pasquato
SS: Aguero, DP
ST: Matri, Toni, IQ, Amauri

Martinez, Motta, Amauri, Melo are all liabilities on the market. Our midfield is set.

Bring back one of Rossi/Pasquato, or both. With Bastos and Pepe to cover both sides our wings will be covered. With Kun our attack will be strong enough. Our wingbacks are good too with Licht/Zieg added...keep Grygera for backup and let Motta go. Pepe is fine for backup. We should really look to incorporate some youth players to get PT when a starter needs rest.

I don't buy the "adding stress to the starting XI" argument, I'm sorry, I just don't. That's their job and if Conte is a good coach he should keep them psychologically strong. We haven't had a strong coach in that regard for some time.

Our depth is fine, we can actually cut some players loose as they are deadweight.

Juventus will decide on Thursday whether to for Aguero
Among other things, the Italian team that day will decide the amount of money available to address the operation, said yesterday as Giuseppe Marotta, manager of the 'Vecchia Signora'.

The Omen saga will live a new chapter on Thursday. That day he meets on the board of Juventus, the team that sounds like a possible destination next to Madrid's Kun, and taking key decisions on the possible attempt to recruit the striker of Atletico Madrid.

Among other things, the Italian team that day will decide the amount of money available to address the operation, said yesterday as Giuseppe Marotta, manager of the 'Vecchia Signora', which also made it clear they will do everything possible so that produces the signing of "a player that would raise the level of staffing."

The board meeting should have been last week! We need to have the money given to us now so we can seal the deal, why the fuck are they taking so long?
