Damn it Sal. Focus.

What do u mean 2 in the CM slot? We have like 5-6 players for the CM roles holmes, I didn't even mention Sissoko or Ekdal.

Our midfield is fine and dandy. Sure, Pepe is talentless but he actually had a pretty good season with us so I am not worried AT ALL if it means he has to play a couple games against teams like Chievo/Bolgona, etc. 442 or 433, either way, we should be more than covered.

I am looking for a top 3 finish.
Our goal should be CL as winning league is out of the question I think. Unless by some miracle Conte is a master, we should put our energies in getting back into the CL.

Pepe can be the new Brazzo...unless we sell him and bring another bench player to take that role.
Okay, I thought Scudetto. Top 3 would be achievable with that squad, I thought you just posted the players that would be in the team.

Storari, Bonucci, Traoré, Sørensen, Giandonato, Brazzo, Toni

I don't want Juventus to have a bench like that ever again, basically.

Yes. It's EXOR-meeting, why would they rush this meeting because of Juventus?
Why am I crazy then? Is it not important to be able to settle these deals as quickly as possible? Alright then, since there is no rush then they may as well extend their holidays for a couple more weeks. Nothing important for the club I suppose.

Bonucci, Sorensen and Toni is not all that bad. Storari did extremely well for us. Replace Traore/Giandonato/Brazzo and our bench will be fine.

Besides, we should have some revenue from our new stadium next year anyways and add to that CL (hopefully) money we will be able to add some nice depth to this team. Maybe even a couple new WC starters.

Meeting was probably planned long time ago . You are crazy for believing they would rush this meeting because Juventus wants to sign Aguero. Juventus is not top priority, so I don't get the holiday-joke. It's not like EXOR-members are working their asses off day and night to serve Juventus.

He will definitely not be presented with the next two weeks IMO. Those journalists are just using that board meeting as a platform to spit their bullshit. After the meeting there will be some actual information. Probably whether these Exor bastards will fund bids for our targets. Then there will be another week or two of finding out whether Aguero even wants Juve and then there will be some stalling in negotiations with Atletico because Marotta wants to pay 34M instead of 35M etc. etc. Don't expect this to be done any time soon. Not within the week.

Why do you see Bonucci there on the bench? I know he didn't do very well and we expected much more (at least me) but he must be at the starting lineup. Chiello --- Boni, sub Barzagli and if two of them are injured Sorensen can play in this position.

He'd be presented after the Copa America. I think we've already hammered out terms with Aguero and will just need to close with Atletico. If we go to close with Atletico it'll be certain we've got an agreement with Aguero.

It's not just about Aguero dude. We need to be able to operate on the market seamlessly. Every time a negotiation hiccup arises we can't afford to wait 10 days until the next board meeting takes place.

Exor, a company with heavy investments in this club is potentially shooting themselves in the foot if they stall while other clubs strengthen more than we do. What good would that do their investment if their investment is being passed by other clubs due to their hesitations? That doesn't make any sense.

These Exor members are no different than board members at any other club, of course they aren't working their asses off day and night but once you commit to an investment you don't just lose focus on it, especially not with the kind of money they have put into it already and sure as hell not with the kind of money they could lose long term if they don't put the right kind of attention on it.

How much do you think we can/have offered Aguero in wages? That's my main concern for him not coming.

I was just replying to Sal's post b/c he had Bonucci on the bench.

Hust, let's just hope as late as this meeting is, they fucking pump in some cash!!!

TBH I don't expect much from EXOR, that's why I don't think they would rush this meeting because of us.

If we reliquish Amauri and Iaquinta that'll cover Aguero's wages. At the end of the day if you want Champions we have to pay good wages. I reckon we'll match his current wages with a bonus on top.

How much is he on? 7 mln or something? It doesn't sound Marottaish to have one player on 7 mln, and rest on 2,5-3,5 (rumours of Buffon having to take a paycut this summer)
